I stand behind my original review 100%. The fact that you would publicly attempt to shame a customer for driving their own personal vehicle after a purchase reiterates your unprofessionalism. You failed to state when the vehicle was purchased on Jan 22, 2024, the vehicle had 2700+ miles (as well as a chip in the windshield and multiple scratches throughout the vehicle because Charlie Gilchrist was driving the vehicle daily), which is why there is a need for an upcoming oil change. You also failed to state that on the purchase date (Jan 22) you secured a 20-day payoff on the trade in vehicle. HUGE RED FLAG because most dealerships secure a 10-day payoff. Then you FAILED and did not payoff the trade in vehicle within that 20-day period. No one in your dealership took any action until our 3RD VISIT inquiring why the payoff had not been submitted. You didn't send a payoff check until 27 days after the purchase date. Then you had the audacity to say I should've sent in the payment due Feb 15 on a vehicle I traded to your dealership 24 days prior; which you admitted you've already sold to another vendor. RIDICULOUS! While William Johnson was not involved in the original deal, the fact of the matter is, he was RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL when I met with him to inquire about the payoff status. Because your dealership and/or corporate accounting dropped the ball, does not give William Johnson the right to speak to me the way he did. He did not contact the lender to confirm the new payoff amount and therefore your dealership/company sent a payoff amount that was less than the amount required to payoff the traded vehicle. So as of TODAY, Feb 23, 2024 (31 days after the transaction date) the full payoff amount for the trade in vehicle has not been satisfied. Please note: a complimentary oil change and finally saying you will send the payoff balance does not account for a customer having to visit your dealership 5 times in less than a month to request you to DO YOUR JOB! All 5 visits were related to the above issues with the front office staff (management and finance/accounting), not the service department.
