Hi Mark. I was trying to be a little discreet in my initial review, despite receiving the review request shortly after I left your location feeling upset & defeated. I'm not sure if you remember me, but I did reach out to you directly. I'm the one who received my car back after you all had it for two months. There were cracks in my taillights, and you told me there was nothing that you all could do because the "spider cracks" were due to exposure to the sun (natural elements) & the age of my vehicle. You then began to try and strengthen your case about my vehicle being old by pointing out the chipped paint. I park in a garage, so my car is not overly exposed to the sun. It was overly exposed to the sun while in KIA's possession for two months. Furthermore, it's interesting to me how both taillights (on opposite sides of the vehicle) developed the same exact damage (or spider cracks as you call them) at the same time. I tried to get you to understand my frustration with the whole process, including being out of a vehicle for two months, paying thousands of dollars, and getting my car back filthy & damaged. However, the very last thing you said to me before you walked off was, "Ma'am, there is nothing more you can say that is going to make me pay for those taillights." With that, I got in my vehicle, and I left. So, I'm not sure how we will be able to rectify the situation when you've made it crystal clear on what Kia was legally obligated to do and what they were not. Thank you for the gesture though.
