My daugher found a 2006 Chevy Cobalt that she fell in love with. So we go in sit at one of the many tables with clients waiting and waiting. They pulled her credit and found she had a great credit score. No problem, Lets get the paperwork started so you can take your car home today. Credit application done, test drive done, waiting and waiting, How much down payment can you do, Do you have a trade in. waiting, waiting. Oly in finance, same guy who did my contract. Lets go over all the paperwork, I haven't been able to find you a bank yet, How much are you able to put down and when. Take the car home, I am sure we can find you a bank... 5 days later, I couldn't find you a bank, Your credit score good but you don't have enought credit worthiness.. (Gee college kid, just moved back home, and paying her student loans, back with 1 deferred). If you can't pay ALL your student loans, how you going to make a car payment.. Gee she moved home to be able to pay her loans etc. )(she has 2 minimum wage jobs). So they send her home with car.. That 5th day. we can't find a bank to help yu, try and applying at a credit union.. or you need a co-signer. (well nobody in town with credit better than hers).. 4 more days go by.. applied Credit Union, They call her the day she made the application, We will look over and call you in a day to 2.. Well its been 4 days. NO Call. She turned the car back into KIA because they said the more miles she puts up on it waiting for financing, then the car depreciates more. WELL YOU SHOULD NEVER OF GIVEN HER THE CAR IN THE FIRST PLACE WITHOUT SOLID FINANCING. YOUR FAULT NOT HERS. I have will have 2nd thoughts about coming back here for business of any sort More
