I had a very negative experience with Toyota of Orlando the night before visiting Orlando Kia West. So much so that I abandoned my desire for a Camry. I wanted nothing to do with Toyota after that experien the night before visiting Orlando Kia West. So much so that I abandoned my desire for a Camry. I wanted nothing to do with Toyota after that experience. My mom called and asked about my car purchase status, and I told her how it went at Toyota of Orlando. A month before, my mom purchased a new 2014 Kia Sorrento through Orlando Kia West, and she said that she had such a great experience. She said her salesman, his Sales Manager and the Finance Manager worked so hard to get them the best deal. The next morning, I called the salesman who helped my parents, Gemoi Elliassaint. I told him my situation, how I was really upside down on my trade-in, how I have less that perfect credit, and how I don't have a large down payment. He told me "don't worry about that, because we have rebates to help with negative equity", and he said to come by and he would take care of me. Something about the way he reassured me told me everything was actually going to be fine. He asked me what kind of car and color we were thinking about, which was an Optima in Titanium Silver. He said he will have one pulled up by the time we arrived from work. He made me feel at ease, and I can say that I trusted him from the start. I suppose it has something to do with the fact that my parents trusted him, and recommended him unequivocally. By the time I arrived at Orlando Kia West, my wife was already there. She had already taken the test-drive and Gemoi was showing her the different parts of the interior of the Optima. Gemoi greeted me with a warm smile and a friendly demeanor. I felt like I had already known him for a while. I test drove a new 2014 Kia Optima GDI in Titanium Silver with the Convenience Package that includes rear-view camera. I never thought about owning a Kia before, but I knew before the test-drive was over that I would drive this car home - so long as the numbers could work for us. Gemoi collected the personal info, and introduced us to Charles Banks, his Sales Manager, and they were the same team that worked my parents' deal. Charles appraised my trade-in, and Gemoi relayed the information about where we needed to be with payments, interest rate, etc. At first, as usual, the numbers didn't work at all. But, Gemoi and Charles kept plugging away. After a couple more tries, we were in numbers that we could work with. Our intention was to be in a new car with payments less than what we had with the trade-in, and we were there, surprisingly. I cannot say enough good things about just how patient Gemoi and Charles were, and how hard they worked to get the numbers to work for us. The Finance Manager, Hicham Belharsa, worked with us to find the best rates and options. He was also part of the team that worked my parents' deal. In the end, we ended up going through our credit union and received a rate that was 1/2 the amount the dealer could get. So, it pays to shop around for rates. I will say that Hicham worked very hard to get the deal done. We never felt rushed or unimportant, and that says a lot about this car dealership. We've purchased many vehicles in the past 7 years, and this has been, by far, the best experience. I never once felt pressured. I never once felt unimportant. With Gemoi, I always felt that he had our best interests first. I always felt as if he actually cared about our needs. I can say, with great confidence, that he is the finest example of a car salesman that I've ever done business with. I can say that Charles and Hicham treated us with respect and never turned their noses up at us when we asked for more over and over again. They wanted to help us, and that is something that is quite evident from the moment you walk into the office. That is something you never find at other car dealerships. I will return when I need another vehicle, and I will go straight to Gemoi, Charles and Hicham. Take notes, Toyota of Orlando. More

I first visited the dealership on 1-20-2014 at first I was not very pleased with the outcome. After working with David and the rest of the staff it quickly turned my frown into a smile.
