Before coming in, we worked with Scott who quoted a $7000 rebate for any new vehicle. When we got to the location, they gave us a quote with $1000 rebate. My wife and I recently purchased a new 2010 Kia Soul+ from Longwood Kia. Our experience was absolutely great! We were greeted in the lot by Shane Rees. Shane is an outstanding salesperson, he has a polished knowledge of the Kia Soul+. It was refreshing experience to find a salesperson in the industry that was not pushy or overbearing. It felt as if we were buying a car from an old friend rather than a salesperson. Shane and the Sales Manager who introduced himself to us (sorry forgot his name)worked out an excellent deal to purchase the Soul+. The whole process was quick and easy, which was very nice since we had our 7 y/o daughter along with us. Shane gave her a balloon and that made her happy. We then worked out the financing and warrenty with Sarah. She is a "down to earth" person who makes you feel like you have known her for years. She is like Shane, polished knowledge of the process and an absolute joy to purchase a car from. Our new car was sent to the car detailer (Sorry didn't get his name)while we were in the finance office. The detailer also did a great job detailing our new car. I had financing problems, but they helped get me a far better rate than even USAA, in the end. Had nearly $15,000 in credit card bills, that even with excellent credit, made lenders uneasy. Tempers flared a little, from my constant negotiating, but cooler heads prevailed (they cooled me down). Car sales were disappointing everywhere, so I came to them looking for the deal of a century and got it! This year, there were even more sales associates, but I stuck with my salesman Mike. I was covered with bruises and sick from air bag gas when I walked in. Showed me exactly the right car in my budget, then busied himself with getting me keys that didn't exist before he found them, and doing whatever needed to be done (like bringing car around, changing plates, final detailing, calling in my rental for pickup) to expedite matters so I could make it to work on time. Thank you Mike for your exceptional salesmanship and assistance. I really needed help after the accident. The new manager Kenny, showed himself a consummate professional, by getting me a Philly cheese steak sandwich when I got lightheaded from starvation. "I'm not going to haggle with you" he said. "You've been here before, so we'll see what we can do to give you a hand." Not the deal of the century, but I drove off with a KIA Rio at a really good price. It's the most inexpensive car on the lot, so there isn't much of a profit margin on it. (even I know that). Sarah, the new person in finance is not nearly as aggressive as the last person in finance (thank god). We talked over service warranties, and lenders... but even after going with my own financing (because my insurance company was so good to me), and declining any service contract (I bought a car with no options other than a radio?), was treated as if I was important. She left the room with me after signing the papers, and assisted me with getting my spare key made, and then with something to drink. (Clearly not her job). Got a car at $177 a month that was inexpensive, and far from being junk. Too tired for it all, they did most of it for me. I had gone to look at a Ford Focus from another dealer that was dirty (drink marks on back seats)and aged inside from dogs and heavy use. With the same mileage (45,000mi), the Focus was listed at $4,000 more, and had almost no warranties left on it. I left that dealership running from a salesman who tried to tell me the car smelled like xxxx because the Florida sun heats the car to 140 degrees. (How about, the truth? No one bothered to even clean it before showing it?) Honestly, after test driving the Focus, I liked the Rio better. Roomier, and better handling... practically new. Great cars, wonderful staff. I am so sorry that I bothered to look elsewhere. Treated like royalty, when I needed a car this time, for a peasant. This is where I buy from now on. I know the names of people, because I write them down to bother them later if there is ever a problem. I did not expect to be writing a review. Sorry, I cannot vouch for the work here. No problems as of yet. More
