My experience with the service department so far has been excellent. This is why I have given the rating that I have. Darryl Barksdale my service advisor is very courteous and accommodating. I came in for an oil change and was on my way in a reasonable amount of time. Darryl was all so kind enough to offer me a complimentary car wash. I see this as Darryl and Orlando Hyundai going above and beyond what is necessary to be of service to the customer. Thank you for the great experience. More

In my delimma of the Engine light and the ESC Off appearingon my dash on 06/24/12, I was first referred to a Crystal River Kia Dealer as I was visitingmy son and his family in that area. The Kia mechanic could not get their computer to "read" any problem but he diagnosed the "brake light switch" to be out and advised me to go to the closest Hundai Dealership. They were all very kind and furnished me with a list to include Dealeres in Newport Richey, Ocala and Orlando, all of similar distances from Crystal River. On my call to Orlando Hundai, the receptionist immediatly connected me to Darryl. After explaining my plight, he responded with "Can you make it here by 2:30pm?" I was sure I could and hit the road to arrive approximately at 1:15pm. I was warmly greeted by Allyn, who in merely minutes, had recorded my problem and gave me an estimate on the "brake light switch" repair. As the afternoon wore on, Darryl appeared to report he had fixed the "brake light switch" but the Air Flow Meter problem had been detected during his computer analysis as well as the right front headlamp out. After my giving approval to do the necessary repairs, my daughter shared that Orlando Hundai had a 10% coupon on line to apply to parts and accessories. On talking with Alicia (most cordial and helpful); she checked with Darryl to see if the Coupon could apply. He was glad to make the adjustment in the total bill. I cannot say enough about the wonderful experience with these employees as well as the general friendly atmosphere. Highly reccommend this Dealership!!! Thank you, Pat Novy More
Chuck, service manager, was so gracious on the phone before I got there. He took care of me when I got there and introduced me to the body shop manager, Eric. Someone ran into my car so I needed body before I got there. He took care of me when I got there and introduced me to the body shop manager, Eric. Someone ran into my car so I needed body work and to check my windshield washer which had quit working from something else entirely. Chris, the painter, came out and promised the paint color would match and he would also take out a major scratch on the side of the car. Eric called me to let me know the progress of my car's repairs. I went back to get my car and it was perfect! Paint matched on my 10-year-old car! Scratch was gone. Washers worked! I left and the "check engine" light came on which wasn't on before the accident. I took it right back. They immediately took it in to have it put on the machines to see what the problem was. Apparently, somehow the gas cap had come loose. They tightened it and checked the seals to make sure everything was okay. They were back in 20 minutes with my car in good shape. These folks couldn't have been nicer. It doesn't matter which Hyundai you drive or how old it is. They treat everyone with respect, courtesy, and caring. When my wonderful car starts running down, I will ONLY buy another Hyundai. It truly makes you feel like family at this dealership. I'm so happy to own a Hyundai! More

When bringing my car for service Today I asked to check if all items were completed on last service that was signed for in my log book. But the items were not fully completed. I went to the dealership to take my 2011 Hyundai Sonata that I purchased at Universal Hyundai back in August of this year. While my vehicle was being serviced, I noticed that the 2012 Hyundai Sonata was ch that I purchased at Universal Hyundai back in August of this year. While my vehicle was being serviced, I noticed that the 2012 Hyundai Sonata was cheaper than the one I actually had which was used when I purchased it. I almost had a heart attack. That is when Juan came to the rescue. He told me that he could get me a brand new vehicle for the same price or close to what I was paying now. I thought he was lying.. Only two hours later, he made magic occurred and I walked out with a brand new 2012 Hyundai Sonata (that included the power package, which my 2011 did not have). I am so happy that I listened to Juan. He was great and now I have the vehicle I wanted from the beginning. More
