A+ grade sales representative The sales representative was awesome, but I had a really bad experience when signing the paperwork on the financial office. At first, I've been told The sales representative was awesome, but I had a really bad experience when signing the paperwork on the financial office. At first, I've been told that the best interest rate for my credit score was 8% per year and my installments would be $630/month. I just assumed that was the absolute truth and I gave the OK to close the deal. When I was signing papers, the financial office guy told me: "hey Kleber, I talked to the bank and I got a 5% interest rate for you in exchange to add some extra warranties". The form I was about to sign had a base installment value of $530/month. Plus the extra warranties, I was facing that original $630/month. So, I doubled checked with the guy: "What? Did the bank give me a better interest rate but ONLY if I buy those extra warranties? What if I don't want these extra warranties?". And the guy replied to me: "If you don't want the extra warranties, you're gonna pay the same $630/month, but with no extra warranties". This is clearly a lie, a scam. They take advantage of our state of excitement when buying a new car and extort us. I'm from other country, but I'm not an idiot. And I did buy a new car in this country already, but from an honest Toyota dealer. The extra warranties costed me more than $4,000. Thankfully, those extra warranties give me 60 days to be canceled and get a full refund. Without this way out, I would suit the dealer and Hyundai for sure. This is a really bad practice and it can't continue like that. I hope Hyundai take the right measures to stop these people doing that. More

Also, during the final financing/service contract paperwork process, the total amount I financed was not clearly explained. A number of approximately $20,500 was mentioned and pointed to on the sheet, but once I got home I realized the total amount financed was $24,000+ and total amount to be paid over the 78 month term was over $30,000!! I was shocked by that and the pricing and all the numbers were not thoroughly explained to me well enough in my opinion. Other than that, I am very satisfied with my new car, all of its features, and especially the color black, which my girlfriend convinced me to choose! More
