The salesman, Reed Turner, was friendly and efficient and I think he is a great salesperson. The problems were in the department that handled the money. I traded in a vehicle which I still owed on. (More than it was worth) I gave Anniston Chrysler Dodge Jeep a cashiers check for $20,000 that covered the payoff on the trade in, and the down payment on the new vehicle. After a week or two, I noticed that the finance company still had no record of the trade-in vehicle being paid off. We called the dealership and spoke to Barbara who explained that due to an oversight, the payment had not yet been made. No big deal, we said OK and thought that was the end of the issue. Then we started getting calls from the finance company saying that our payment was past due and it was going to affect our credit negatively if the payment wasn't made. We called the dealership back and got the run around. No one seemed to know why the finance company hadn't been paid yet. Finally, we had to make a call to the dealership with the finance company on the line. We again spoke to Barbara, who didn't realize that the finance company was on the line. She stated that it was taken care of and the finance company would be getting the money the next day. The finance company representative that was on the other line had no record of any such arrangement. I'm just wondering how Anniston Chrysler Jeep Dodge managed to "misplace" almost $14,000 for an entire month. I was planning on purchasing another vehicle in the very near future, but will definitely NOT be going back to this dealership EVER again. More

This dealership is greatly lacking in customer service.
