I purchased my 2005 Sonata from Greenville, TX dealership. From day one I had AC fuse blow out several times each year. I'd take it in for service and still had the AC fuse blow. This year I had o dealership. From day one I had AC fuse blow out several times each year. I'd take it in for service and still had the AC fuse blow. This year I had one blow every time I turned it on for 3 days in a row! So I took it to the shop. They kept it 5 days!!! They told me the wiring was installed in reverse, and my cost would be $503. I inquired why should I pay anything since it was a factory error that I've lived with since 2005. They said, the warranty expired, the cost is my responsibility. Yet it was never found before! In addition, I was charged a $50 environmental fee. When I asked why, I was told they charge that for every vehicle that comes into their shop. And that it was a Environmental Agency fee requirement. I called TECU, they said they do not impose a mandatory charge for an environmental fee. 5 days and $503 dollars before I got the vehicle back because they couldn't find the problem in a timely manner. Deemed to be a factory problem, I called corporate, who said only the dealer ship can file factory assembly related problems. I informed Greenville Hyundai of this information and the reply I received was, " That's interesting, we don't do that but will look into it." I haven't heard any updates. Greenville Hyundai added and external fuse inline with the AC. I have yet to see it. Why would they do this? What the xxxxxxx engineering is this? They'll never get my business again! More
They never answer phones in finance and cancelled two different plans and they never send them in right away. It takes months to get anything done! I would never send anyone to this dealership. Best service ever! While doing routine maintenance, they found a rats nest under my hood!!! Not only did they clean it out but Garrett took a pic for me to show my husband! The WORST service department We purchased a new Genesis from this dealership a few years ago and have had NOTHING but trouble with their service department. The car currently has a safety recall, and we can do nothing but leave a message for the service department and cannot even get a return phone call. This has been going on for several days. It had another recall awhile back, and I had to get in touch with the general manager of the dealership to get them to finish so we could get the car back. I am talking about days that they kept it not merely hours. More
