Best Buying experience I ever had from Cameron McClellan I purchased 2 new 2015 Sonatas from Cameron McClellan, I went online the first time to check them out and to see if they had the car I wanted. I went to truecar.com to see what they said was the lowest price. Well to make a long story short Cameron called me within 15 minutes of me being online and invited me to come in and take a test drive. I decided to go but was planning on buying from the dealer who sold me my last Sonata (2014) the next. I arrived about 1 1/2 hrs. later the car we had discussed was waiting there for me to test drive. He handed me the keys said take it for a ride and we will check out your car while your gone. I drove it, it was what I wanted they gave me exactly what I wanted for my car and beat truecar.com's price a bunch. I drove My new 2015 Sonata Sport for 30 days and hit a very large buck on Interstate 24 in Southern, Il. It was totaled, I called Cameron and he got me the exact same car color and options for less money than I paid for the first one and it was sitting fully gassed and ready to go when i got there. I find that working with Colton Mccellan is a joy. He is always willing to help me out anyway he can. He is eager to please me in what ever my needs are as far as getting me a great deal. Colton was very very nice and he made sure we knew what we were getting. He knew absolutely everything there was to know about the sonata we bought. He is a great salesperson and a great person all around you could tell that he wanted you to be happy with the deal you made and he was willing to keep going back to the counter time after time. As some of you may know, when a used vehicle is purchased from a dealership a 30 day warranty is included in the sale in which any repairs performed by said dealership will be discounted 50%. I took advantage of the discount, or so I thought, I called one day prior to taking my vehicle for repair and got a quote for $180 full price, including all shop costs. Therefore, I would pay $90. My bill was $124.89 plus tax. Brandon Matson was my service advisor. The employees are the biggest LIARS I have ever dealt with in central Illinois. ALso, I had to wait over three hours for my repairs after making an appt. Take your business elsewhere!!!!!! More

I have purchased many vehicles in the past and I have never had an experience that even comes close to the horrific process that Green Hyundai (aka Green on Dirksen, Ltd) put me and my family through. I traded in a vehicle several months ago and purchased a used Ford Expedition from Jaran McClellan, the Internet Sales Manager. I found the Expedition in a listing on cars.com. The vehicle was everything my wife and I were looking for, so after speaking with Jaran on the phone, we began the 3 hour and 40 minute drive to Green Hyundai. Upon test drive and price negotiation, we agreed to trade our vehicle and purchase their vehicle. Up to this point, everything was going fine. They gave us a good price for our trade and came down on the price of the vehicle we wanted. The only things we didn't like is that the navigation disks were missing, there was only one key and the owner's manual was missing. Jaran agreed to get us all of those things ASAP. We then sit down with Jake Pembrook, the business manager. We do the paperwork, sign here, sign there, exchange keys and such. Good transaction goes bad from here. We leave that night happy that we have upgraded our family vehicle and that our hard work has allowed us to purchase such a nice SUV. Next business day, we pay off our trade as agreed and begin the process of waiting for the title to come so we can mail it to Jake. Meanwhile, it is an absolute nightmare getting Jaran to come through on his promises to get us the navigation disks. It is a couple of months and an attempt to give us an incorrectly (it didn't work) burned (is that even legal) navigation DVD later, before we finally get the correct navigation disks. Now the spare key did come, however with no keyless entry remote, and we did receive an owner's manual (that was not even for the year of our Expedition) that I was assured was the same as the model year as our Expedition. The other thing, which I let slide, was that the listing on cars.com the Expedition was advertised to be Blue Tooth ready. Well, it isn't. After questioning Jaran about this, he asked me if I had a copy of the listing. I didn't, and the listing had been pulled, so tough luck for me I guess. Anyway, back to the title... After a few weeks, the finance company mails us the "clear" title to our trade-in and we promptly mail it as instructed. We thought everything was good to go then. Until a while later I receive a call from Sarah Helker (sp?) and she told me that they were still waiting on the title. I then tell her that it was mailed to Jake, per his instructions and she needed to check with him. I thought that was the end of it again. Wrong! I get more calls from her and each time I supply her with the information. I thought everything was squared away with her and then one day after working all night, I get a phone call from an investigator with the Illinois Sec. of State Police saying I could be charged with a felony! WHAT?! I just wanted to buy a car and now you are saying I am withholding information that can make me a felon!??? What do I have to gain by not giving you the title?? Is it going to bring my old car back?? NO! I have nothing to gain by not giving you the title! I am at such a loss right now. Never did I think this was going to happen when I packed my family in our car to head over to Green Hyundai. Shame on you Green Hyundai!! More

After a lot of research and asking everyone I knew, I found that most people recommended Green Hyundai. Boy were they right! Mike Quimby has daughters my age, and I knew he would take great care of me. He instantly reminded me of my own dad. Not only did I get a great deal on a used Hyundai Tucson, they gave me way more $$ for my trade in than it was worth! I have since bought a new car from another one of Todd Green's dealerships in Springfield, and it's easy to see why the Green Family is growing so quickly. They really know how to take care of the customer. I locked my keys in my car at a gas station, and I had no clue what to do. I called Green Hyundai, and they sent someone right over to help me get into my car. Looking back, I realize that I should have called a locksmith, but Green Hyundai stepped up to the plate and had me on my way in no time. I would recommend Mike Quimby and Jake Pembrook at Green Hyundai (or any of Todd Green's dealerships) to any of my friends who are not familiar with the car business (like me) because I know they won't take advantage of them. And, they will walk them through the process step by step. Well done Green Hyundai!! More
