I searched for a BMW 335i and noticed that Greater Chicago Motors had 2 in stock and one of them had all options as I wanted. I called to the dealership in order to make sure that the car is still ava Chicago Motors had 2 in stock and one of them had all options as I wanted. I called to the dealership in order to make sure that the car is still available and that it has ALL options that are listed. I got to talk to the salesman - Casey. at first he seemed very friendly and trustworthy. he was like, sure buddy, come over buddy, I will even discount you the car buddy and most important "I add the listings online myself, so I assure you that all options are there, and if not we will add them to you at no cost". when I arrived to the dealership I was surprised to discover that some of the options were MISSING!. I asked Casey what’s going on and suddenly he said that if I will pay the price of the ad then he will remove take the missing parts from the other car and install it on mine! SERIOUSLY??? you advertise 2 cars and then you play around with moving parts from one to other? no wonder parts are missing. I took the car for a test drive and it drove nice. I decided that I prefer to pay less and that this missing options, even that it is not ok to false advertise and make me come all over to Chicago just to find out that he will not back up his words is still not a good reason to not buy the car. I decided to buy it regardless. after looking more at the car I noticed that the hook cover on the bumper is missing (yet again it was on the picture of the ad). Casey assured me that he will get the cover to me from the other car, and if the other car don’t have it he will order it and ship it for me. LIE! we closed the deal, and even that this cover is a small piece, when it is missing it ruins the entire look in the back I trusted Casey to honor his words (which was a mistake on my behalf). as I left the parking lot, the worst possible scenario happened - Engine malfunction light turned on. I didn’t even reached home and it was on. I called Casey but now he was waaaaaaay less nice. all he said that "you have manufacturer warranty so you can go to BMW for that". that’s not the nice Casey that I met before he sold me the car. while I was running around trying to fix the problem at one of the BMW dealerships, I was still waiting for the cover for my bumper. I called Casey and he told me that he still didn’t get the part. 3 weeks passed, and I called him again. this time he said that he shipped the item and I should receive it shortly. I’ve waited for a long time and nothing. so I called him for the last time and asked for a tracking number. he "couldn’t find it". I told him that he can forget about it and not send it (I’m sure he wasn’t going to anyway) and I hope no one will deal with him again. his reply: "whatever you want buddy". Casey is just a lying sales person. I’m very sorry that I believed him at any point of the process and was fooled. the only good ending was that I took the car to other dealership, they fixed all the issues and replaced the cover for me. I’m very happy with the car but I am definitely no recommending this dealership and Casey and I do not think I got a good deal. More
