If I could have given less star, I would have Mark Reed is very rude, arrogant and love to belittle his customers: I am not "your friend" as you keep calling me. Terrible dealership: purchased a car for $29000 and 5 days later have to invest $7000!!! normal??? here is my last email sent to Mark Reed: If I type my question maybe you will answer them without turning around and playing with me!!!! Your arrogance of calling me “my friend” is like laughing at my face when I try to explain to you my problem!!!. Your arrogance of calling me “frenchman” in trying to ridicule me makes yourself appeared very unprofessional!!! The paper work for the car were filled up on 4/29…correct….but I received the car on May 10 ( you booked the shipping company). I have used the car for 7 days and on May 12 contacted Barry Delissi with some issues (break noise, muffler silencor not working). I put the car for repair and got an estimate of over $3000 in repair ( the car was at the shop for 5 days (including a week end)…But Mr. Barry thought it was too much and asked me to get a second estimate. I went to porsche the next day and the car is still there since then…and all aftermarket parts that were promise to be in great working conditions are not working and need to be replaced: mufler, air intake… In addition to them, the two front axel, front driver seat motor, air conditioning hose ( AC was not working) and more repairs are needed….I am at $7000 down after spending $29000 with you promising me that this car was in great shape inside and out. I tried on several occasion to get the pictures of the car from you as you promised me when it was still at the shop but you always made excuse of why you could not…(they were adding a strip under front bumper that was missing…but then I received that car with no strip and found out the front bumper had been repainted…why??? why couldn’t you tell me the truth??). I also received a car with no gas at all in it ….I received a car with no manuals, and I received a car with two set of key (but one is not working at all) So Can you explain to me why is it normal in your mind that I can spend $7000 on a used car that I paid $3000 over KBB value (per the paperwork I received from your company)?? How would you feel if it happened to you? Can you give me the name of the owner so that I can contact him with my issues? I forgot to let you know “why I brought that car for repair to start with?” After having the car for 4-5 days…the engine light came up..…then ABS and PSM failure sign lighted up as well….So, do you still think it is a great car, in and out??? More

My experience Friendly, knowledgeable staff. I flew in from out of town and wanted to get on the road as soon as possible. All relevant paperwork had been sent to Friendly, knowledgeable staff. All relevant paperwork had been sent to me prior to my arrival which made the paperwork extremely quick and easy once on sight. After I had an independent inspection performed the sales staff accommodated my issues with very little resistance. The only down side to my experience was the weather. It was not a sunny day and the only location to view the car was in a dark warehouse making a thorough inspection difficult. I did have the opportunity to look the car over from their maintenance bay which helped as it also allowed me to see the car from up on a lift as well. An overall very good experience. More

A Pleasant Surprise I recently purchased a low-mile'd Porsche from Greater Chicago Motors, and wanted to let other review readers know of my experience. Let me start off I recently purchased a low-mile'd Porsche from Greater Chicago Motors, and wanted to let other review readers know of my experience. Let me start off by saying I had to drive several hours to get to their location and I am also a hard guy to please, so the odds were stacked against them. I wanted to be able to look over the car extensively, I would review every inch for imperfections, and I would undoubtedly be requesting things on top of the purchase price. Going into the purchase I expected to be let down in each of these areas, but to my pleasant surprise my experience was exactly the opposite. Despite the seemingly tattered environment surrounding the Greater Chicago Motors building, there is a great business inside. The operators are gentleman (especially Mark Reed, the rep that assisted). Most sales reps seem to push a car as fast as possible to avoid the buyer picking up on flaws, but they invited me to make a deep inspection - even let me use a handful of their tools (I probably just got someone in trouble). Needless to say, I bought the car. I am now ~2,000 miles into ownership with no issues, and love it. All-in-all, I am not convinced that I could have had a better experience, and I would recommend Greater Chicago Motors to anyone who has interest in their auto selection. More
