Buyer Beware Just as the title says, buyer beware! Make sure you do your homework--have a ppi done for sure and don't believe just because the Carfax is clean, that the car you are looking at is clean. I purchased a car form this dealership that had a clean Carfax( which I now know means very little) and very low miles and the salesperson assured me that the car had not been in an accident and had no paint work what so ever. Wrong--car has had paint work on almost every panel except the roof. I also pulled a build sheet on the car from Porsche and found out the car is missing a couple of very expensive options, $2700.0 adaptive seats and the $650.00 CD changer the car was claimed to have as factory options. I am going to take responsibility because I did not dig deep enough, but the car was misrepresented by the dealership in a BIG way. I am writing this to make sure this experience doesn't happen to you! More
My purchase of a Jeep Liberty 2010. I was shopping online before I went into "Greater Chicago" and so glad I did. I was met by one salesman by the name of William Natal. I asked if I could test drive the vehicle I came in to check out. He had it cleaned and looking sharp even before I could look at it. When they brought the vehicle around I was impressed. I drove the it and I loved it !! I ended up purchasing this Jeep and unlike other dealers William was NOT pushy. After I had to go to see Chad in fiance department. Another great guy. These two guys William and Chad are two class act guys. Now I had to see the parts dept on about three occasions. I first called in. Guy who picked up Bruce was NOT friendly at all. I thought maybe he was having a bad day. NOPE this is how he was each and every time. I came in second time with donuts and not a thank you, still big attitude as if it was such a bother to have them look at my car after I just purchased it two days ago. I asked for one mechanic to put on lug nuts my dad had purchased for me and guy said oh I'll put them on. Never did. So this dealer should really have a talk with this guy who sits at the front desk because his attitude makes the whole dealership look bad after people purchase cars and spend thousands in there. As I waited I even asked a other customer if he got an attitude from this guy Bruce and he said he's got it from another guy in service. Over all I love my Jeep and I would definitely recommend this place ONLY because William and Chad were so professional. Service dept. needs to be more professional and polite !! More
VERY VERY POOR EXPERIENCE!! NOT TRUTHFUL AT ALL!! I had been working a deal on a S63, William Nate was the sales rep. After nearly 2 months we finally made a deal. I agree to drive from MN to Chicago with my trade in. Because it was over 450 miles, I asked several detailed questions about the cars condition. Every time I ask specifically if this car had and paint work, his reply was "its mint with zero paint work!" So I decide to make the trip. 7 1/2 hours later I arrive there with my wife and my 2 year old daughter. Upon arrival we take a look at the car, and in less then 2 min of being there my wife of all people find that the car has had the front bumper painted! After further inspection it was very clear it had been, not to mention the car was no where near "mint" in fact it was in very rough shape! I immediately load my family up in the car and head home, due to a winter storm warning they were having. I get about 20 min away and call to speak with the manager Casey Dobczyk. Explain the entire situation to him and his response was "it is a used car and 9 out of 10 used cars have had some paint work". I found that very interesting due to the fact that I asked so many times if the car had any paint work! Casey also says he is no expert when it comes to looking for paint work. I found the rather interesting because the dealership also owns a body shop which is next door. Needless to say, these guys were both far less then honest!! I would caution anyone thinking of purchasing a car from this dealership. These guys have a very difficult time telling the truth! Every when they as asked the exact same question several times. More

Bought a car, but almost didn't! Jason developed a trusting relationship and rapport with me and my wife. After being berated by him about my offer, my wife and I walked out and headed for our vehicle to walk away from the deal. Jason pulled it out of the hole. I wouldn't let Wally near a customer. More

After talking to Mike I decided to put down $1000 over the phone. The following day I flew in from NY. My fights were delayed and Mike stayed at the dealership for over a hour past when they closed so I wouldn't have to spend the night in Chicago and could start my journey home. The car was exactly what was featured online, no gimmicks. Only disappointment: There was scuffs to underside of the front bumper from being towed to the dealer. Many sports cars are too low for average tow company's to handle and require special tools and ramps to avoid damage . The tow company dragged the front end to get it on the lift (car only has 14,000 miles and not another scratch on it). I recommend picking the car up rather then shipping it. All and all I'm pleased with the car. More

Mike Ganges was an absolute pleasure to work with and afforded me the ultimate buying experience. I inquired about a 2007 Audi Q7 on a Monday to learn it was in the process of being shipped to Chicago, IL from another state. Mike consistently provided updates regarding the status/arrival of the vehicle via personalized phone calls and email correspondence. The Q7 arrived on Thursday evening, I test drove it Friday morning and by late afternoon, I was bidding farewell to my trade-in and driving away in my spectacular Q7. This was the most effective and efficient car buying process I've ever experienced and I owe it all to Mike Ganges. I'm an extremely satisfied customer and will absolutely refer him to my family and friends! More

When I asked a question he always would give me his best answer and if he did not know he would get an answer from one of the mechanics and call me back. I was somewhat surprised at his honesty and straight forwardness since he did not know me, and I liked that. I am not fond of car salesmen but Mike did a great job and because of that I took a chance and bought the car. Also, Chad (Financing) was gracious, courteous and did his best to make all the dots connect. I am sure he was getting ticked off at me for my questions on shipping. Now I had some problems with the shipping because of mechanical reasons I was told, the truck broken down so I had to wait another 5 days for shipment. Things will break but I was surprise there was no back up to this. Anyways, the dealer would have gotten 5 stars if it was not for the shipping process. As far as Mike and Chad to work with they were awesome. More

I am a local buyer and I went in looking for a low mileage Porsche 911, of which they had several options. I passed on one car that I had originally gone in to see because it wasn't the right fit for me. When I made that decision, Anthony and Wally never pressured me or questioned my reasoning. Instead they were very informative and maintained great communication. I later went back to see another car, which ended up being a much better fit. Wally answered all of my questions and facilitated an inspection on the car with my mechanic. When it came time to discuss deal terms, the positive experience continued. Wally was straightforward and worked hard to fairly value my trade, ultimately offering me great value. I am very happy with my new car and the overall buying experience at Greater Chicago Motors.
