Everyon There are 2 stereotypical types of reviewers: those who give 5 stars and those who give 1 (I gave 4 to hopefully provide detailed content. Everyone who has had a bad experience at Greater Chicago Motors from every review I read in my research is either buying above their financial means or has no idea about cars. Don't come to buy a Bentley or Maserati if you can afford the sticker and the required upkeep. This is not a dealership for a "good deal," come here if you are looking for a specific car. Rarity increases demand so don't expect price reductions....if you want to feel like you get a gold star for haggling and a car that requires zero maintenance; go buy a Kia. Be ready to pony up and pay for want you want especially if it is uncommon. GCM clearly specializes in rare option/year/color combinations on higher-end vehicles. They know exactly where they stand in the market from a pricing standpoint. That being said I had a great experience with zero BS while buying my Porsche. Mark is straight forward and very knowledgeable of his inventory. It was refreshing to not deal with the "used car salesman" vibe you get from practically every dealer on the planet who is trying to make a deal. Do your research and don't waste GCM's time if you are on the fence about buying. Disclaimer: I've never bought a car without driving it first so I recommend everyone physically come to GCM to test drive or either stop whining about how the vehicle was different from the pictures. 5/5 stars More

Mark reed was the salesman and definitely there was no pressure. In fact he professional, polite and enjoyable to do business with. I viewed Greater Chicago Motors online about 20 times following my 2010 Chevy Equinox. The photos were so sharp and attractive and showed every angle of the SUV. Marked had commented that what I saw in the photos would be exactly the way the SUV would looked. he was soooo correct. I am smiling and driving!!! Thank you Mark and thank you Greater Chicago Motors!!! More
Great experience! I recently purchased a Lexus IS-F from Khayin and couldn't be happier. This is the second vehicle that I have purchased from Greater Chicago Motors a I recently purchased a Lexus IS-F from Khayin and couldn't be happier. This is the second vehicle that I have purchased from Greater Chicago Motors and both times the transaction went smooth as could be. Unlike similar dealerships, the condition of the car in person matches what is depicted online. Khayin was upfront with me about all of the minor flaws, which were typical of any used car, before I made the hour drive out to their facility. Upon viewing the car and driving it, it was everything I expected it to be. I was also given a fair value for the vehicle that I traded in. The financing rates they were able to get were higher than I was expecting, but refinancing will take care of that... All in all, GCM is a top notch dealership and I will definitely take my business there in the future. More
came in not planning to buy, khayin had other plans:) i must say i was kinda nervous about dealing with a used car dealer. you always hear horror stories. i came in to purchase an suv for my wife and 5 ki i must say i was kinda nervous about dealing with a used car dealer. you always hear horror stories. i came in to purchase an suv for my wife and 5 kids. i told myself that i wouldnt make a purchase, however khayin's professionalism and honesty won me over. the first thing he did before we went on a test drive was point out small imperfections on a car. it used so i wasn't taken aback. he even mentioned the tires would need to be changed in 10 thousand miles. most dealers dont even mention that until you ask. the process was fast and smooth and i was out in 2 hours. the apr i got was more than it feel it should be but i will refinance. love this place and i will be back More

Total Scam WARNING! DO NOT BUY FROM THESE GUYS! I recently purchased a 2013 BMW 750LI with 18K mils on it for over 50 Grand Cash. I had the care shipped to me WARNING! DO NOT BUY FROM THESE GUYS! I recently purchased a 2013 BMW 750LI with 18K mils on it for over 50 Grand Cash. I had the care shipped to me here in CA and when it got here it was a disaster!! I dealt with William and Wally. The description on the add says, "No dings, Dents or curb rash" the ad also says "Super Clean'. When I called about this car "William" was the sales guy I talked to, I SPECIFICALLY asked him if the car had ANY rips, tears, stains, dents, scratches or issues with this car as I would be purchasing it from another state without seeing it in person, William assured me the car had none of they above and was a super clean car. So, after seeing the provided pictures, reading the descriptions and talking to their sales rep William, and being assured this was a very clean car with 0 issues, I proceeded to purchase it. We paid just over $50,000.00 which was an "Out the door price including tax and lic" ( Or so I thought) for this "Supper Clean' Car. The car showed up of the trailer a complete disaster, I immediately called William back and told them I did not want it and told them to take it back. He told me that was not possible. Now, stuck with a very bad car, I get in to drive it to a car wash so I can get it cleaned up for a better inspection, its really hot so I go to turn on the Air Conditioner and IT DOESN'T WORK! I try the seat coolers, and they do not work either. I get to the car wash and watch as they wash the car, after the outside is clean I can now see MANY more issues. Once the inside is cleaned is cleaned I begin to see the same, MANY more issues. This car is much worse that I first thought. I can now see lots of dents, scratches, body repair, over spray, broken moldings, Oxidized paint, Rips, tears, stains and dents inside and out. (I will have an itemized list below of what I and the BMW dealer found below for both interior and exterior). I decide to get a full detail inside and out, with clay treatment, color sanding to remove over sprays clay wax to remove oxidation's and a buffing to smooth it all out that was exterior, for Interior they did shampooing to remove stains, two leather treatments and conditioners to remove stains and dents, I had the detail the door jambs and all glove boxes and compartments to get the grime out. This detail took 3 guys 7 hours to do and cost me 460$ 400 for detail and 60$ for tip, I gave 20$ to each guy. After the detail. the car looked much better, but still FAR from good, there were still dents and scratches and some over spray that could not be removed, there are still scratches and tears both inside and out. We then took it to BMW dealer for a full inspection. The next day BMW called me with a lengthy list of issues, broken items and missing pieces of the car. Here is the combined list of problems found by BMW and myself; 1. Bad battery. Under warranty. 2. Cracked Right rear rim. $984.07 Dangerous to drive! 3. 2 bald rear tires. $1,005.68 4. Broken AC compressor. Under warranty. 5. Broken seat cooling fans. Under warranty. 6. Missing drink holder. $$193.54 7. Broken and covered in over spray splash panels. $1,308.54 8. Damaged front grill. $300.00 9. Car out of alignment. $350.00 10. Full detail. $460.00 11. Multiple dents on exterior paint. 12. Multiple scratches on exterior paint. 13. Front bumper poorly repaired with noticeable damage. 14. Over spray all over car from repairs. 15. Replace ripped and torn interior piece. $355.98 16. Over spray all over interior, on stereo and AC control and dash. 17. Burn mark on floor mat. 18. Dents in seats. 19. Warn marks on seats. 20. Paint runs from poor repair work. I haven't got quotes on all items yet, but total for what I have so far is $4,957.81 and that is without tax. And even with all that being done, the car still would not be up to their own descriptions standards. The dealer also had the car for 4 days to do all the repairs, the day after we got the car back we got a new problem, now has a "DRIVE TRAIN WARNING" and needs to go back in. We also had to register the car ourselves and cost us another 3,500$ part of it was late fees left from Greater Chicago Motors. Which was supposed to have been included in the sale price! Wally told me they would send me 200$ for the detail and a used splash panel and nothing more. he told me they wont take the car back and now wont even respond to my emails. They never even sent the 200$ or part. This has cost me an extra 10K in repairs for this purchase. Stay away! More

Very Open and Honest Usually when you go to a dealership you keep your guard up the whole way through cause everything the salesmen says sounds fishy or salesy. Not only w Usually when you go to a dealership you keep your guard up the whole way through cause everything the salesmen says sounds fishy or salesy. Not only was my salesmen, Khayin, really helpful and patient about everything but I dealt directly with the owner, Sam. He was polite and not pushy about what the dealership could offer me and he answered all my questions directly. I feel really confident about the car I bought and I'll be returning in a couple years when it's time to replace my wife's car. More
