This Dealer does not stand behind what it sells 2016 Highlander XLE-After nine months the touch screen on my Nav radio has a cracked screen. It was a very hot day (106F) the radio controls on the sc 2016 Highlander XLE-After nine months the touch screen on my Nav radio has a cracked screen. It was a very hot day (106F) the radio controls on the screen froze and I pushed the button in an attempt to make contact with the application and it cracked. This is a $3500. repair/replacement. I am in my mid 50’s and have several Apple products and they never cracked. The dealer hid when the going got tough. No one has offered any effort in resolving my issue or helping me. Toyota customer care was no better. I was informed its was “outside influences”, whatever that means and even though I have a three year 36K warranty, the repair/replacement will not be covered. No one offered an alternative, repair, replacement or recommendation. I am left to my own devices. I have requested district managers to call me back, owners of the dealers, etc. Not one phone call. It is obvious that 40K for an automobile is not enough to concern anyone. I feel swindled, lied to and cheated due to all the hype I got from the sales person on this dealers integrity and service. Oh, the salesman quit by the way. Go elsewhere. More
Shady Practices/Charged for work that was not the problem I brought my 2015 Tacoma in due to a vibration and shaking in the floor and console. I was told that they would fix it by balancing the tires. They I brought my 2015 Tacoma in due to a vibration and shaking in the floor and console. I was told that they would fix it by balancing the tires. They charged me 35.57 and gave me a receipt which I put in my vehicle. I left the dealership and realized that the truck was not fixed. I called and told them I was returning. I could not find Mr. Brister when I returned. Once I found him I told him the truck was not fixed and that Balancing the tires was not part of the problem. I also told Mr. Brister that he did not document the problem initially as I explained it... He failed to put there was a vibration and shaking in the floor and console. I requested that he document what I told him the problem was. I told him I was not happy about being charged for something that was not part of the problem and I wanted a refund. Later Mr. Brister came back and told me that They found that the Truck had a defective tire on it. These tires had less than 18,000 miles on them. They replaced the tire. However I was still charged the fee for balancing the tires which was not a part of the problem. When I left the dealership I looked for my first receipt. I found that it had been removed from my vehicle without my permission. I did not authorize my anyone to remove anything from my vehicle. I received my credit card statement and notice that the charges are still there. Gray Daniels staff removed or took that receipt out of my truck to hide the fact they failed to document what I initially told them the problem was. It also had the initial charges on it. Removing this receipt is a very shady practice. I called the dealership to talk to the Service Manger on the way home. My calls got dumped to e mail(It was not lunch time). I left a detailed message and requested that this be addressed and that I be contacted. I also sent an e mail to the service Manager. NO ONE RESPONDED. Later I noticed that 3 of the four Valve stem caps were missing from the tires? I called the service manager again thought the receptionist....yes you guessed it...voice mail again. I left all my contact information and asked them to call me... NO ONE RETURNDED MY CALL. I live in Yazoo City (what would have been the cost of a postage stamp, 3 valve stem caps and an envelope)? I will never buy any make vehicle from Gray Daniels and will be moving my service to another Dealership just as soon as the 25,000 mile service is done. I have contacted Gray Daniels again. I will be filing a formal Complaint to the Customer Service Center in California on June 2, 2016. I also will be contacting the Better Business Bureau and filing a complaint in regard to the above. I would never recommend Gray Daniels Service Department to anyone. NO RESPONSE, NO RESPONSE...Failure by Gray Daniels to follow up on Complaints. I have been a Quality Assurance Specialist for many years with a Company that is ISO Certified. Customer Service Evaluations and a speedy response to customer complaints are paramount to repeat business. I am very disappointed with Gray Daniels. More
Completely Rude I have never been talked to like I was ignorant before. This lady makes you feel just that. Advising me that I didn't know what I was talking about I have never been talked to like I was ignorant before. This lady makes you feel just that. Advising me that I didn't know what I was talking about as I was not a service tech, but they could have someone look at my car for me. How rude. The entire conversation was as if I interrupted her and completely ruined her day by calling. If you don't know how to talk to people, don't answer the phone. And definitely don't tell your customers that they don't know what they are talking about. The problem that I told you about is currently being fixed at Herrin Gear, who had no problem looking into the issue and knew exactly what I was talking about. And guess what...the problem that I thought may be going on, was just that. Maybe I do know a thing or two. After many bad experiences with this service department, my conversation with her today has topped the cake. I'm done. I hate that I every bought my vehicle from you all. More

Philip I had brought my 2010 Tacoma truck in for service about a month ago. Philip called last Wednesday and told me my headlights were in. He said you guys were doing a courteousy warranty on them. You will never know how much I appreciate this, I have been wondering what to do about my ugly looking lights on my beautiful truck, and he did this for me. I have a 2014 Corolla S (bought from Felix, another great guy) a 2009 Camry and this Tacoma and with folks like Philip and Felix I'll be back. Bob Stringfellow More

In talking to Marc, he was a mechanic for Toyota for many years and had vast knowledge of Toyota mechanics which made me feel like he knew what he was talking about. When I arrived the day of service I met with Jerry Brister who already knew exactly what my needs were, had the work order ready, and got on it right away. Brittany Ainsworth assisted me with arrangements for a car so I could go out and do a bit of shopping while the work was being done. My entire experience with this service crew, and dealership, has been positive in every aspect.
