Hello Ms. Craft. I do apologize you feel that way. I consulted with the technician and he said yes, the compressor is leaking freon from the seals that is why he quoted you the compressor to correct your concern. He did say yes, adding freon will make it cool for a period of time but will eventually leak back out due to the seals. The price of freon is expensive and we did not want to charge you for only freon that will leak back out without correcting the concern. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to us.
