Playing Games I met with Shane Sam on Friday, after driving 2 plus hours from Chattanooga, he asked me if I was going to put any money down, I told him yes and how I met with Shane Sam on Friday, after driving 2 plus hours from Chattanooga, he asked me if I was going to put any money down, I told him yes and how much. Then he said, I wish I had some of that money. So, I went ahead and test drove the car. Once we got back in the office, he asked me if I had a debit card and I said yes, then he asked me if I could use my debit card for 1/ 2 of the deposit and a check for the other half. I thought that was odd, but now I’m wondering if something unethical was going on. Once we got back in his office and after looking at my car he only offered me $1,000. I was absolutely insulted and I told him so. So he told me to go next door and see how much Carmax would give me and he would match that amount. He kept on encouraging me to go next door and see what Carmax would offer me. So, now I thinking that he and his friends at Carmax are in business together. He said it would only take about 30 minutes of my time. So I told him to hold on to everything, which he and the General manager agreed to until I came back, I said, " do not pull my credit" and they both agreed to that. I did ask the General Mgr. about an extended warranty and he said, "well since we can't help you with reducing the sales amount of the car, I will give you the warranty at my cost", then he winked at me. So I got back in my car, and realized that by the smell in my car, that he had been smoking in my car, so at time, I got really mad and headed on back to Chattanooga. I found out today, Monday, that they DID pull my credit. I don't appreciate that he and the General Manager, Kash Iqbal lied to me. If this is the kind of people that Gravity Auto hires, be aware !!! More
