I had an issue with a Lifetime Oilchange Contract which was included in our closing package. Unlike everything else in the package from Honda Financial Services, the LOC was a product of Lipsey Motors LLC was included in our closing package. Unlike everything else in the package from Honda Financial Services, the LOC was a product of Lipsey Motors LLC the parent company of Grapevine Honda. I requested the contract be canceled, and to his word Mr. Patel helped resolve the issue I was have with Lipsey Corporate HDQ. Mr. Patel is a stand up guy! The salesman we worked with, Byron was excelent. So the only negative I had with the process was resolved by Mr. Patel. I would do business with grapevine Honda again. Thank you! More

I was in the market for a vehicle that could better accommodate my wife who recently suffered a horrible accident. I inquired about a vehicle at this dealership and set an appointment, but I unfortuna accommodate my wife who recently suffered a horrible accident. I inquired about a vehicle at this dealership and set an appointment, but I unfortunately had to cancel because my wife’s condition had deteriorated. I rescheduled for the following week. The test drive went great and when I asked for a quote, I noticed the price had been increased $2,000. When I pointed this out and offered to pay the last price I saw listed, I was told, this is the used car market. Either inflation hit this dealership hard or they enjoy taking advantage of people with disabilities. More
Brought my car in for what seemed to be an issue under warranty. They gave me the run around with the issue and only did certain parts to address the warranty issue. Time went on my car went out of warran warranty. They gave me the run around with the issue and only did certain parts to address the warranty issue. Time went on my car went out of warranty waiting on a part that the car needed, had my car back and ended up stranded on the road after them saying the car was fine and wouldn’t mess up. They wiped their hands with my car and said anything else that should be fixed (parts they failed to do as the warranty suggested and i questioned beforehand) was on me. After telling me all this told me to contact corporate, which was a waste, they never got back to me and my agent stopped answering my calls. I ended buying a car from another Honda who found the issue with my car and gave me more than market value for my trade. Upper staff at grapevine is entitled and the GM failed to call me back after he made empty promises. This dealership needs to start all over because accountability and professionalism is not at its forefront. More
I am 41 years old and have purchased MANY vehicles over my years. I have never seen a more dishonest and shady sales manage as Erick at Grapevine Honda. I called about the vehicle and spoke with Frank I my years. I have never seen a more dishonest and shady sales manage as Erick at Grapevine Honda. I called about the vehicle and spoke with Frank Ivens and confirmed the vehicle in stock. This was a 2021 Honda Passport with 21k miles one owner and advised that was CPO. The car was also marked as CPO with a red sticker on the top of the passenger side windshield. A price was agreed upon (out the door, including TT&L, 33k). Now the sales manager, Erick, gets involved and confirms the vehicle is CPO and agrees and has me initial off on the $33k price. Now that I’m presented the “numbers” they’ve ran , a payment of nearly $800 per month for 60 months. When I ask Erick about my pre approved rate through a local credit union, that they confirmed they work with, he stated that he was unaware of the APR. and I noticed that the paperwork he is now showing no longer has the APR listed just a monthly payment. And this amount is exorbitant to the rate I’ve been approved and the money we’ve agreed upon. So now a on and off conversation with Erick continues over the next 3 hours. He originally presented a hand written quote of a rate of 8.94 apr even though it’s way over the rate I’ve been approved for. He later tells me that not only was I making up the warranty he offered, after stating the car is not actually CPO, he states, and I quote, “that conversation wasn’t recorded, so it didn’t happen”!!! After hours at being at this dealership and me calling him out on his lies and me going to my car, Erick chases after me. He then asks what he can do to make it right and I advise that he can keep his promise of including the warranty in the original price that was agreed upon as the car was stated to be CPO. Erick the. Says he will go into his manager to review. Then comes back several minutes later to advise, HE CAN NO LONGER SELL THIS VEHICLE AT ALL!!!!! Lying yet again, that “Honda” has put a stop to the sale! THEY SOLD ME AN EMISSIONS ILLEGAL VEHICLE AND TAMPERED WITH THE EMISSIONS SYSTEM. I purchased a vehicle last month that stated on the carfax it didn’t pass state inspection, the sales associate Ryan Ti WITH THE EMISSIONS SYSTEM. I purchased a vehicle last month that stated on the carfax it didn’t pass state inspection, the sales associate Ryan Tillman could not tell me why it didn’t pass because “the test was done in another city” but assured me they fixed whatever it was because it passed their state inspection. After I signed all of the paperwork and bought the car, Ryan then told me the previous owner had a catless exhaust system on it but told me that they put a catalytic converter back on. The check engine light and a few others came on before I even left the lot, so I took it back to their service dept where the service manager very rudely assured me nothing was “actually wrong” with the engine and couldn’t even tell me what codes it was throwing. I was able to get into a shop about a week later where they found that an outdated catalytic converter was welded into the middle of the j pipe-BEHIND the 02 sensor, several feet away from where it actually needed to be placed, so now I have to pay to replace the entire OEM J Pipe and catalytic converter-which is at least $3k. It has taken a week for the shop to order the parts/get me in to fix it, so I have not even been able to drive this car. I have called, texted, and emailed the service dept and the several people in the sales dept. I am either not responded to or forwarded to voicemail. There is no way this vehicle should have passed inspection given that it was tampered with and is literally emissions illegal-so you can add a fraudulent state inspection to the list of offenses, too. It is really in their best interest to make this right given they have broken laws, but since they aren’t responding to me, I will have to take legal action. I will also be reporting this to the DMV, EPA, and DPS. Do not go to this dealership if you actually want to be able to drive the car you purchased. You will be without means of transportation and lose money. More

This dealership adds on 5k to MSRP plus 2800 on accessory markup. Wake up people. Do your homework. There are 4-5 dealers in Texas that do not charge BS markups. Please do business with them. Salespeople 5 Stars: Caden Morgan & Mayur were top notch. Settled on a price fairly quickly and they contributed to deciding which Ridgeline would be best. ALL of their cars have a $2,800 appearance package, Settled on a price fairly quickly and they contributed to deciding which Ridgeline would be best. ALL of their cars have a $2,800 appearance package, which is not optional. You won't find this on the website. So, understand that the MSRP you see doesn't include it. Not a problem if you know they have built it in for dealer profit and negotiate down from there. Dealership Appearance 5 Stars: Clean, bright, new and has a good atmosphere. It's a newer dealership, so you would expect it. Finance 1 Star (generous): Dealt with John Pomroy. Friendly and your best friend... until you question the over $3,000 in add on coverages. I have purchased over 10 new cars and had 6 new leases. Most recently I was in and out of the Mercedes Dealership in less than 90 minutes and they had full transparency in every area. This however was the absolute worse finance experience I have ever had. I run an insurance company and pride myself in knowing the numbers. John however was a master at the "slight of hand" with the numbers. And, if you questioned where they came from it was "hidden incentives offset that", "you just don't understand how it works", etc. There was some masterful misdirection and belittling and shaming techniques to get you to feel like an idiot for just asking. My wife was thoroughly upset and sat through it all. I don't need to get into all the details, but in the end he had built in well over $150 per month of extra's (Lo Jack, Permaplate, windshield protection, etc.), stating it was only going to cost me $21 per month. Many of these items were supposed to be included in the Appearance Package but were not. Lo Jack, Permaplate were only a year with the package he said… I needed to buy the extra years of coverage.??? It got so bad that when he got caught in his lies the finance manager had to come in to clean it up. When we came out, the sales guys knew what happened, and were embarrassed. John is very slick... and my guess is that very few people ever challenge him. There is no doubt the dealership is well aware of it all, but in this climate of having less cars to sell they see the opportunity to build in a ton of extra profit. We like the car and they detailed it well for us. My wife unfortunately has a sour taste for Honda and said its the last one we buy because of this. I hope that's not true because I like their cars... but I understand. I realize someone will follow up this review with a "sorry about your experience" response. But, they can save it unless they go back and review the recording of the finance transaction and say "John is fired". That isn't going to happen though. I literally had to shower after getting back just to wash away the negative and get my positive energy back... whew. More
