Safety recall results in disfunctional brake I took my 2016 Forester in for a safety recall, a switch under the brake pedal. On my way home, my brake started acting up. I called, and a manager an I took my 2016 Forester in for a safety recall, a switch under the brake pedal. On my way home, my brake started acting up. I called, and a manager and mechanic were immediately dispatched, came to my location and reset the brake. It seemed like it was fixed, but on my way home from there, the problem returned. Again, they responded immediately to my call, came to my location and fixed it again. This time it seems to be truly fixed. The whole ordeal took about 5 hours and significant stress, for a 30-minute appointment. The issue was handled promptly, professionally and courteously, but the fact that there were serious problems with my brake - twice! - after a safety recall causes me to lose all confidence in the mechanics working on my car. Thankfully the issue did not result in any injury. More

Yet when my car was done, I walked in, gave Tim the loaner car key, paid for a battery replacement, got my key and left, probably less than 5 minutes. More

I was able to add an unplanned request to fix a cosmetic problem which was done at no additional cost. The waiting room was comfortable and the coffee and snacks were inviting. I was given an update during my visit on the cause of the issue and how much longer it might take. Once the work completed I was able to pay for the services without a delay. And my car was waiting outside and ready to go. More
