AC/Heater blower fan noise seems fixed by new motor; so far. We started to be annoyed by a high pitched cricket-like sound coming from the fan motor in the last couple of months. After researching on line, we f We started to be annoyed by a high pitched cricket-like sound coming from the fan motor in the last couple of months. After researching on line, we found we were not alone and decided to bring the car in for service to have the noise addressed. It took some time to finally convince the service manager and techs that the noise was real and what it sounded like, but once they agreed the problem was there, we were able to get a new fan motor installed and it seems to have done the trick for now.
