Sandy Jackson was great to work with and I got an unbeatable price. My overall experience would have been great except for the trade-in process and offer. I believe I was low-balled and my car wasn't unbeatable price. My overall experience would have been great except for the trade-in process and offer. I believe I was low-balled and my car wasn't considered for the above average condition it was in. I don't even think the appraiser looked at it, just looked at auction prices for average cars with miles ranging from 16,000 to 70,000 more. You should know they do not look at Edmunds or Kelly Blue Book. Thanks to Sandy though, he did meet me in the middle of the trade-in offer range so that was good. Just kind of brought down the excitement of getting my first new car. Anyway, I do highly recommend Grand Subaru for purchasing a new subaru and highly recommend working with Sandy Jackson. As for trading in your car, it's up to you, but realize you will get a printout with low numbers that may not match your car's condition and also can't even tell if it was your car they looked up. If you just want to get rid of your car and don't care though, go for it. It's definitely worth the price they get you for a new car! All in all, I highly recommend getting a new car though Grand Subaru and to specifically work with Sandy Jackson to get it! More
After test driving a 2014 Forester and deciding it was the vehicle for me, I contacted several dealerships, spelled out exactly what I wanted and asked them to give me their best price. I'm a busy mom an the vehicle for me, I contacted several dealerships, spelled out exactly what I wanted and asked them to give me their best price. I'm a busy mom and business owner and I don't have a lot of time for playing games - I expected a straight up response and wasn't in the mood to hassle or get the run around. I contacted my local dealership and several others within 2-3 hour drive. Then after seeing a one way flight to Chicago was pretty reasonable, I email Grand Subaru just to see what they said. I had been looking on www.subaruforester.org in the Forester shopping forum under "2014 Forester Prices Paid" so I knew what others were getting for deals and what I would be happy paying. A few people had mentioned Grand Subaru so I decided to give them a try. Within literally minutes Sandy Jackson had responded to my email and sent me a straight up quote detailing the vehicle and all fees. It was thousands less than anything else I had seen so far. In fact it seemed too good to be true. I spoke with Sandy on the phone and she confirmed that that was it - no hidden fees or costs. I put $500 down - totally refundable if I changed my mind and spent the weekend looking for any negative to buying through them. I found only positive reviews, and with a $3000 savings over my local dealer it was a no-brainer to fly to Chicago and drive my new Forester home. They are located within 15 minutes of O'hare and sent a driver to pick me up. So easy and stress free. They are the nicest people and bent over backwards to make sure I had the best customer experience. You know they are on to something with their low price. One dealer emailed me back and asked what he could do to earn my business. I sent him my quote from Grand Subaru and invited him to meet or beat. He got very hostile toward me and assured me that they were going to screw me over when I arrived in Chicago. Either the car wouldn't be there or it would be damaged in some way, regardless I was a fool to think that was legit and I had better be careful. I didn't appreciate that one bit. Grand Subaru is the real deal and you won't go wrong with them. More
I was looking for a new car and the XV crosstrek was just what I was looking for. So using email I asked several dealers for quotes for their best price. Sandy Jackson immediately emailed me the best price b what I was looking for. So using email I asked several dealers for quotes for their best price. Sandy Jackson immediately emailed me the best price by far. I was impressed with the qoute and after test driving the car I was ready to buy. The quote didn't change when I went to the dealer, no bait and switch here, I got a fair price for my trade in so I pulled the trigger and I couldn't be happier. I would give Sandy Jackson and Grand Subaru my highest recommendation to anyone looking for a new car. More
Bought a used, 2011 Subaru Forester Limited from Wendy and Grand Subaru. I would recommend this dealer. Details... --Stopped by on a Saturday in January, originally just to test drive some Foresters and Grand Subaru. I would recommend this dealer. Details... --Stopped by on a Saturday in January, originally just to test drive some Foresters and Outbacks in our general price, year and trim range, to see which we liked. Weren't originally intending to buy a car, unless exactly the right one was there. Turns out it was. Test drove it, liked it, talked with Wendy Kaplan about it. She was very friendly and patient, as we drove 4 cars, though one was obviously the ideal one. --After the test drives, we debated about the car we saw, and Wendy left my wife and I to talk. We did some quick looks on cars.com to see what else was out there at this trim level and year, and on truecar.com to see the target prices. Amazingly, the list price of the car was only about $200 higher than TrueCar's target price (which is typically aggressive), and other similar cars around the Chicago area were all move expensive. Only concern was that when I described the potential trade-in vehicle (2004 Saturn Vue AWD V6, 88k miles), the general range they were discussing was lower than we wanted to hear. --Put down a deposit of $500, which they said was refundable, so that we could talk it over for a day or two and do more research. Did the research, and bottom line, this was the perfect car for us (2011 Limited trim, plus cold weather package and rear camera added, excellent condition and reasonable mileage). --Two days later, brought the car I was trading in to a nearby Carmax to get their offer, and that was more in line with my expectations. Took that to Wendy. They balked a bit at first, but then agreed to meet that price for the trade-in. Tried to negotiate the price on the car to purchase, but as noted, there was no leverage to use - the price was already better than any other car in the area at similar year/trim/miles, and this isn't a new car where you can go dealer to dealer. So we took the car for list price. Basically, the trade-in was the only negotiation possible. --Paperwork experience was a pain as always at any dealer, but not terrible. --I gave this dealer 5 stars on all except price, where I gave it 4 stars, as there was no budge on the price. But as noted, I didn't expect much budge anyway. Overall recommended dealer and sales person! More

Chris Czaja was incredibly helpful and did all that he could to make sure that I was taken care of, despite me buying a car at a busy time of year (Christmas/end of the year). I live in Arkansas and found Grand Subaru online. They had one of the best selections of WRXs out of anywhere that I saw in the country, and they have high standards for the used cars that they have in inventory. It seemed like every time I looked at a WRX posting on AutoTrader, it was from Grand Subaru. Being an out of state sale and since I was unable to get the time off work that I needed to drive 10 hours from here to the dealership, I was expecting buying a car out of state to be complicated and take a while. However, I was incredibly surprised at how fast they initially got me a shipping quote and how they were able to provide me any additional information or pictures that I needed. Overall, if I'm in the market for another Subaru, I will definitely be going through them again. I couldn't be happier with my new car!!! More
