I purchased a Nissan Murano from them in October 2010 on a referral from a friend. This was the best car sales experience I have ever encountered. Pete Tomiano was our salesman. There was no pressure. Jo a referral from a friend. This was the best car sales experience I have ever encountered. Pete Tomiano was our salesman. There was no pressure. Joe Lostocco, the owner, was thorough and helped immensely throughout the financing process. I had my vehicle a week later. Jimmy and Mike have been so helpful in "instructing" me about my fully loaded Murano - They have always been there to answer a question or concern. I have been in for service and each and every time they have been friendly, courteous and helpful. If I need a loaner vehicle they oblige. I recommend them to anyone I know that is looking for a vehicle. This is truly a family-owned business. More
My wife and I have purchased multiple cars for ourselves and our children from Grand Prix Motors over the past 15 plus years and had them all serviced there as well. I have found Grand Prix to be very sele and our children from Grand Prix Motors over the past 15 plus years and had them all serviced there as well. I have found Grand Prix to be very selective about offering only the highest quality vehicles for sale and insuring that quality by checking every detail before putting the car on their lot. In addition, I have found their integrity and fairness to be second to none. On the rare occasion that one of my purchases had a minor issue, it was quickly corrected without any hassle. As I mentioned, I have also used Grand Prix for all my automotive service needs over the years and found that they display the same level of care and competence in this area as well. When service is required it is performed properly and completely. I cannot remember ever having a return visit for the same problem, and have never had a secondary issue created as a result of the original service. In summary, I always feel comfortable and confident that I will be treated with fairness and will leave with a sense that I am a valued customer whenever I deal with Grand Prix Motors. More
We have been using Grand Prix for many years and will continue to.When we bought our daughters car and grandsons car we went to Steve who checked them out and we were told that yes they might need small continue to.When we bought our daughters car and grandsons car we went to Steve who checked them out and we were told that yes they might need small repairs due to the age of one of the cars but since it was a first car it would be good for his needs.Needless to say we bought it and three years later we can not complain. All of our family cars go there to be repaired and we have never had a problem, in fact my daughters car died so she thought after school one night. She called grand prix and their tow truck came out and checked out her car. over the weekend she was in Ny where she had bought and didn't need a battery. The man that took the time to fix the battery and make sure she was safe in an empty parking lot told her to check with Joe in the morning. Most places would have demanded their money up front, but being the type of people they are she wasn't charged. They take good care of their clients and it feels like family. When the time is right this is the place we will buy our car as we trust everyone who works there. More
Visited this dealership for car purchase. Was told that the vehicle of interest was in good shape and had a 60 day waranty value. When I enquired about taking the vehicle to my mechanic for a 2nd opinion, the vehicle of interest was in good shape and had a 60 day waranty value. When I enquired about taking the vehicle to my mechanic for a 2nd opinion, I received hesitation and anger from the owner, Joe. I should have stopped then, as it was clear that the dealership was trying to cover up problems with the car. The vehicle had been cleaned up to look very good. When I returned with a vehicle report from my mechanic, detailing the problems found with an oil leak which was getting into the alternator, and severe overheating problems with the cooling system, the dealer would not discuss selling the vehicle at a fair price or offering to fix the problems. Obviously this dealership would rather put band-aids on any severe issues with their cars and try to sell to unsuspecting customers, who will run into dangerous or deadly problems later. Had I purchased this vehicle from Grand Prix, I have no doubt that it would have overheated and broken down, possibly on a long highway trip far from the dealership. Had the car been returned to the dealer for repair, they would have stalled with cosmetic "fixes" until their made-up warranty period was ended and any car owner would be stuck with large repair bills for hidden issues. It is my strongest urge to beware of this car dealership in Danbury, CT at all costs, as I would not be able to trust them on any vehicle from the lot. More
