After a challenging start with my 2020 Chevy Equinox, I want to provide an update on my experience with Grand Kia. Initial Problems: I purchased the vehicle on January 11, 2024, and faced significant issues almost immediately. The check engine light appeared the day after purchase, and despite multiple visits to the dealership, the problem persisted. Service was often slow, communication was poor, and the issues were not effectively resolved. Resolution: After posting a negative review, I was contacted by the dealership, which led to a notable improvement in service. Jim from the service department took a proactive role in addressing and fixing the turbo issues with my vehicle. His efforts, along with support from General Manager Jose, were instrumental in resolving the ongoing problems. They both demonstrated a commitment to customer satisfaction that was previously lacking. Overall Experience: While my initial experience was frustrating, the follow-up service and dedication from Jim and Jose have been positive. Their actions have restored my confidence in Grand Kia. It’s clear they value customer feedback and are willing to go the extra mile to ensure satisfaction. Recommendation: I appreciate the efforts in turning my experience around. For potential customers, I recommend engaging directly with the service team and management to ensure clear communication and effective resolution of any issues. Grand Kia has shown they are capable of delivering quality service when properly addressed. More
Terrible Experience with Grand Kia I purchased a 2020 Chevy Equinox from Grand Kia on January 11, 2024, and the problems started immediately. The very next day, the check engine light came on with the message "Engine Power is Reduced." Despite taking the car back to the dealership, the issue was never properly resolved. Summary of Issues: January 12, 2024: Check engine light appears. Returned to dealership for repair. January 22, 2024: Check engine light reappears. January 27 & February 6, 2024: Returned to service department multiple times. Communication was poor, and service was inadequate. February 14, 2024: Service department claimed to fix a hose. Check engine light came on again on February 23, 2024. February 23, 2024: New representative identified turbo issues. Resetting the system was supposed to fix it. February 28, 2024: Turbo identified as needing repair. Was told it needed warranty approval. March 2, 2024: Left the car for warranty approval. Initially denied a rental vehicle. Eventually, a rental was approved, but only for 10 days. March 18, 2024: Picked up the car, seemed fixed, but check engine light came on again the next day. March 23, 2024: Visited dealership again. GM promised to address the issue, but there has been no follow-up since March 25, 2024. Overall Experience: The service was consistently poor and unresponsive. The dealership failed to effectively resolve the issue with my vehicle and did not honor their commitment to customer satisfaction. Their handling of my situation has been extremely frustrating, and their lack of follow-up has been unacceptable. I would strongly advise against purchasing or servicing a vehicle at Grand Kia based on my experience. More
This was the 2nd car I bought from Grand Kia. Everyone I met there were good friendly people. They all went out of their way to give me good service and good product. Finding the KIA Sportage Hybrid was really difficult. I called all the dealerships in CO and even some in Wyoming and Texas. But David Vigil of Grand KIA not only found what I was looking for, he also gave the best deal. David kept me informed every step of the way. There were some minor delays when my car arrived, but he informed me and kept up excellent communication. David has also been highly responsive to my questions on how things work after I picked up the car. I highly recommend working with David Vigil at Grand KIA. And I LOVE my new KIA Sportage! More
