I am sorry to hear you had a poor experience with our Service Department. I did some research and the vehicle history in our system is only showing 2 oil change visits on 4/28/2018 & 10/13/2018 prior to the engine issue. We pull the VIN history through Kia during each customer visit and would have been able to make you aware of the recall that wasn't completed prior to the engine failure. I called just out of curiosity to see how they could resolve the matter. Talked directly to Chad and he had nothing to resolve the matter. Basically, said KIA was to blame and left it at that. Not sure why the Service Manager did not respond. Stay away from KIA.
