After dropping off my vehicle it was 3 days before the "transmission guy even looked at it. A week before they were able to tell me what was wrong with it. While upset about the time line, I did my best to be understanding because I knew these things take time to be done right. I was told it would be done by Tuesday. Tuesday I called for an update and did not recieve word back until thursday, only because i insisted on talking to the manager. Again, was not upset about the time line, was upset about the lack of communication. I was assured the truck would be ready by the following tuesday. Recieved a voicemail on friday stating my vehicle was ready, I called and left a voicemail stating that I wouldnt be able to pick it up until Saturday due to work. I recieved a second voicemail stating that was fine, my truck was ready and waiting. Saturday I sat for an hour and a half while they looked for my truck only for them to find it with the transmission still out of it. I recieved numerous apologies with again assurance my truck would be ready tuesday. I began calling Tuesday, it is now thursday again with no one returning my calls and the manager constantly "at lunch." More

I brought my Lincoln MKZ Hybrid into Rancho Ford Lincoln for it's 10,000 multi-point inspection on Monday, September 26, 2001 at 10:00 a.m. as per my appointment time. My Service Advisor was George Elskamp. for it's 10,000 multi-point inspection on Monday, September 26, 2001 at 10:00 a.m. as per my appointment time. My Service Advisor was George Elskamp. I explained to George that my MKZ Hybrid made a loud squeak, when I pulled out of the garage every morning when I go to work. The squeak is so loud it would make the dogs bark in my neighborhood. I also explained to George that I don't think Lincoln customers should pay over 40K for their car and be embarrassed to drive it. George seem to agree with me at the time but when he called me later that day to pick up the car around 3 p.m. he said the car was all done and I could come and pick it up. When I dropped by Georges Service Advisor station, he gave me a brief look and said pay the cashier through the double doors and they'll bring your vehicle out. I asked George if they found out what was causing my squeaky breaks and George said, it's detailed in my service slip. There was no detailed information on my service slip regarding anyone trying to fix my break issue. When I brought my service slip to George and asked him to show me where my issue was addressed, he scrabbled around his podium, which is seemed he was attached too and pointed to section in the multi-point inspection saying the break pads were at 70%. I said to George you didn't even have them address my number one concern, George said you can bring your vehicle back on another day and we could replace the pads?!?!?! What a unprofessional response to a customers concern, it may not be the pads causing the squeak but George is so clueless he probably doesn't even know that. I wouldn't waste another day at this place. It's obvious Ford wants to have a brand to compete with Lexus, Mercedes Benz, BMW & Infinity but have staff that can only aspire in workmanship and professionalism to repairing Ford Pinto's. More
I received a very nice call from Rancho Ford Lincoln this morning. Which I thought could have been to apologize for the awful experience I had there yesterday, but no. The woman on the other side of the phone just wanted to know if I would like to reschedule my appointment, that I missed yesterday with George at 10:00 a.m.. I explained to person on the phone that I was there at 10:00 a.m. and I did speak with George and I did leave my car to have it repaired. These people are so unorganized it's no wonder they ran around like they don't know who's in charge and what to do next. If you like professionalism and courtesy, don't take your car or buy your car at Ranch Ford Lincoln. More

I would personally like to commend the efforts of Dani in Service for the outstanding customer service and support of his service staff. I have had numerous problems with my 2001 F350 and Dani has partnered Service for the outstanding customer service and support of his service staff. I have had numerous problems with my 2001 F350 and Dani has partnered with me to get everything fixed properly and I now feel I am good to go. He is very responsive when I call (if not at his desk, he always calls back promptly and gives me confidence regarding his assessments and recommmendations).
