The price adverstised was perfect and at no point did we have double-cross or high pressure sales. I know other folks may disagree with me--but you don't buy a used car and expect it not to be close to having tear and wear things surface faster than a new car(Ex: emblem peel off, brake pad wear, engine tuning, etc). Any doubts: My other car is a used SAAB that I bought from another dealer and still drive at 215K miles. That makes for a good story in another forum and with a good pot of coffee nearby. On our S-80: Make no mistake about it--Gorges is a dealer that stands by their product. For the few minor quirks that this high mileage car brought (the car has NEVER left us stranded), the dealer stood right behind the product unconditionally, and made the repairs at no charge---just as promised at the time of the sale! Seems to me that they take the Volvo reputation very serious AND personal---and they make sure that their customers don't forget what their product stands for! Even with a used Volvo---any time we approached them--there were no excuses and no insulting your intelligence. It appears for them it has to work as promised and to OUR complete satisfaction. Oil changes were done and continue to be done promptly and efficiently--the car returned to us in "showroom-condition" every time. This is our second Volvo--and can't say enough good things about these vault-solid machines. As far as my wife and I are concerned, this is the kind of reputable, no-nonsense place you want to get your car from and be serviced by. More

I have referred 10 of my family and closest friends to Gorges Volvo and all have agreed that this is the best car buying experience they have encountered. I will continue to go to them for all my Vehicle needs. The Service department is always very help full and respectful of my time. I look forward to purchasing my next vehicle from them. More

I've found the sales team at Gorges Volvo to be very friendly and professional. Specifically, Steve Schworer provided very timely responses to my many questions and requests during an extended search for just the right new vehicle to meet my needs. Steve kept in touch without being pushy and always made me feel like a valued customer. After completing a few minor adjustments on my new car, he personally delivered it to my workplace! Even the required meeting with the finance guy was fairly painless. Overall, excellent experience! More
OK, this may seem a little odd, but I bought two vehicles in less than two weeks from Gorges Volvo. Why? Well, the first buying experience was so good, we decided to ask Drew & Chad to be on the lookout for in less than two weeks from Gorges Volvo. Why? Well, the first buying experience was so good, we decided to ask Drew & Chad to be on the lookout for a very specific replacement for our second vehicle. It took less than a week for that to occur, and yesterday we bought our second vehicle from Gorges inside of two weeks. Have to say, that feels crazy, but the attention to detail Drew and Chad showed us, and the attention they paid to us as individuals, had an impact. I ended up with a great car for what I think is a very fair price and couldn't be happier. Again Drew was incredibly easy to work with on the deal and Chad...I feel like I grew up with both of these guys. I can sense the honesty and doing things ethically, and I really appreciate that. The finance guys made it easy on us again and got us an even better rate, by 1.20%, than we had coming in. Brett in particular impressed me again with his approach and the fact that, earlier in the day, with my head down looking at my phone, sitting in the waiting area, he recognized me as he entered the building and said hi and asked how things were going. You just don't normally see that out of the guys you don't expect to have to create those relationships. To me, this is part of what sets Gorges aside from the others. More
Terrible experience with this dealership. I liked the vehicle, and was excited to make a deal. The experience turned sour when they said that they don't negotiate prices, at all. They are not Carmax, the vehicle, and was excited to make a deal. The experience turned sour when they said that they don't negotiate prices, at all. They are not Carmax, they're a small dealership. Not allowing negotiations on price is terrible policy for a small dealership like this. It totally turned me off from buying. So that threw me off, but much worse was the ridicule of the vehicle I was driving. These guys are not professional at all and don't know how to make a customer feel comfortable. Maybe it's because they deal with wealthy snobs a all day, but if you are a regular hard working person, they send a clear message that you are below them, and not welcome. Condescending, and phony. Worthless!.....Told me I had no bill and a month later called and asked when I had picked up my car, said they lost my bill, but had just recently found it. They wanted to charge me $600 to replace a sen called and asked when I had picked up my car, said they lost my bill, but had just recently found it. They wanted to charge me $600 to replace a sensor, which consisted of removing two screws and replacing the old sensor with a new one. I did the job myself in 5 minutes with the exact same sensor, which I bought for $120. This solution to my problem didn't even fix my car. The other problem, they weren't even able to diagnose! From now on I will be driving 4 hours to the next closest Volvo dealership to get my car serviced. More
I was looking for a well taken care of used car and stopped into Gorges Volvo thinking they would be too expensive but, it was right next to Baxter Chrysler so, why not? Craig Fischer came out to greet stopped into Gorges Volvo thinking they would be too expensive but, it was right next to Baxter Chrysler so, why not? Craig Fischer came out to greet us and showed me a 2004 Volvo S80 that had just come in on trade. He allowed us to see and drive it before they had a chance to detail it. He gave us the Carfax and even let us call the original owner to make sure they had no issues with it and took care of it. We settled on a fair price quickly and agreed to buy it. In the inspection/detail, they found that the gas door did not lock, the electronic truck latch was broken and the brushings needed to be replaced. This added up to be around $800 in repairs but, they completed them at no extra charge to us. Craig Fischer is very laid back and definitely not high pressure so, I would recommend him if you go to Gorges. He is very knowledgeable about Volvos (like all their impressive safety features) and answered all of our questions accurately. He also does the Volvo Overseas Delivery Program, if you are interested in that. I've had the car for about 4 months now and have had no issues with it (knock on wood!). I would definitely do it again. More
