Gorges Volvo Cars has been recognized as the preferred Volvo dealer serving our region since 1957. Back then our founder Fred Gorges and his 2 brothers first formed a relationship with Volvo in Wichita Kansas, where the Gorges brothers operated a successful import business. When they were approached by Volvo to start selling cars in the United States, Gorges Volvo Cars was born.
After some time in Kansas, Gorges Volvo Cars eventually relocated to Omaha where we've continued our successful business for 30 years. We attribute the success of our new and used Volvo dealership over the last three decades of serving Omaha, Lincoln NE, Fremont NE, Sioux City and Council Bluffs IA, to the fact that we are 100% dedicated to maintaining our strong family values and extending those values to our customers. Countrywide truck search Heidi was amazing!! I’d been searching all over their MidWest for a truck that fit my needs & budget & found what I wanted at Gorges Volvo. Not only Heidi was amazing!! I’d been searching all over their MidWest for a truck that fit my needs & budget & found what I wanted at Gorges Volvo. Not only was it expectional, the overall experience Heidi & her team provided was above & beyond. Living in Minneapolis, I had many questions that were answered without hesitation. They even took videos of vehicle, put it on a car hoist & photographed the undercarriage for me. I flew in & within an hour they had me in a new car with tons of extras I hadn’t imagined. Outstanding! First and foremost, I am not normally a Volvo fan. Normally I wouldn't have went here. I'm glad I did. I found a gently used truck for the right price and meet Gary and Chad. I normally also dread buying a car, as often is the case, you end up spending the entire day having the sales associate go back and forth to get a price for a vehicle. Then paper work etc. That's what I'm used to. I meet Gary (that's Captain Gary Shockley-thank you for your service!), who was pretty new to Gorges. I didn't know that until later on because he didn't act like someone who was new to the job. He was great! And I felt no pressure to buy anything. Then I meet Chad who is one of the sales managers. Instantly think I'm being traded as I've often had bad experiences. Again. Not the case. Chad was very transparent on the truck and we made a handshake, the three of us, in less than 30 minutes. I was floored! Chad and Gary said that is how they do things! They held the vehicle until I could come in to sign papers. I was able to come in, sign papers over lunch and be on my way. Hope it should be done. Their loyalty program is outstanding Great group. Hope to come back again! You guys are fantastic! More

I have had the pleasure of dealing with Mike Percival for most of those year I have dealt with Gorges Volvo for 10 years purchasing several vehicles. I have had the pleasure of dealing with Mike Percival for most of those years. An outstanding representative of Gorges, always going way above to help me find the vehicle I am looking for and then following through with the aspects of service after purchase. Very thorough in making sure the right vehicle is presented because he knows his customers. Mike is definitely not the typical automotive sales individual. Very low key and really works for the customer. Mike is backed by the best dealership I have worked with - from management as well as service (which is great). Their service has kept me on the road while averaging approximately 50,000 miles per year. Definitely recommend Mike to everyone looking to purchase either a new or previously owned vehicle. More
