Gorges Volvo Cars has been recognized as the preferred Volvo dealer serving our region since 1957. Back then our founder Fred Gorges and his 2 brothers first formed a relationship with Volvo in Wichita Kansas, where the Gorges brothers operated a successful import business. When they were approached by Volvo to start selling cars in the United States, Gorges Volvo Cars was born.
After some time in Kansas, Gorges Volvo Cars eventually relocated to Omaha where we've continued our successful business for 30 years. We attribute the success of our new and used Volvo dealership over the last three decades of serving Omaha, Lincoln NE, Fremont NE, Sioux City and Council Bluffs IA, to the fact that we are 100% dedicated to maintaining our strong family values and extending those values to our customers. Outstanding! First and foremost, I am not normally a Volvo fan. Normally I wouldn't have went here. I'm glad I did. I found a gently used truck for the right price and meet Gary and Chad. I normally also dread buying a car, as often is the case, you end up spending the entire day having the sales associate go back and forth to get a price for a vehicle. Then paper work etc. That's what I'm used to. I meet Gary (that's Captain Gary Shockley-thank you for your service!), who was pretty new to Gorges. I didn't know that until later on because he didn't act like someone who was new to the job. He was great! And I felt no pressure to buy anything. Then I meet Chad who is one of the sales managers. Instantly think I'm being traded as I've often had bad experiences. Again. Not the case. Chad was very transparent on the truck and we made a handshake, the three of us, in less than 30 minutes. I was floored! Chad and Gary said that is how they do things! They held the vehicle until I could come in to sign papers. I was able to come in, sign papers over lunch and be on my way. Hope it should be done. Their loyalty program is outstanding Great group. Hope to come back again! You guys are fantastic! More
