Both new and used car buying were great! I have been purchasing Volvos from Gorges since 2000 and have always found them to be wonderful, attentive, and upfront in our transactions. Most recently my salesperson has been Charles Erickson. That guy knows Volvos in and out and then some! When I ask pointed questions he gives me a straight answer so when I needed a good used car for a young driver I looked to Gorges as a place I could trust. I inquired online about a 2011 GMC and heard back in short order. Charles went through the car with me, we reviewed the Carfax, and it was a done deal. Buying used cars can be a dicey proposition but Charles and Gorges put me at ease. My philosophy was if Gorges had it on their lot to sell and didn't send it to auction after the trade-in it must be in good shape! More

You don't have roving gangs of predatory sales people stalking you. Our experience has consistently been that we call Gorges and tell them what we're looking for, they find the car that we want and then we walk in and sign the paperwork. It takes longer for them to orient us to the vehicle we're buying than it does to do the financing paperwork. In fact, we've spent successively LESS time in the finance office with each car we buy. With our first S60, the only thing we didn't like about it (and this isn't Gorges' fault-we learned from experience) was that it didn't have all wheel drive. So we called and asked for the exact same car, only with AWD. Well, Gorges gave us MORE car as far as features (blind spot information system, better stereo etc.) but we got it for the same lease payment since it wasn't exactly the one we had. That's great service. This time, we figured we'd just purchase our car when the lease ended. But Gorges got hold of us to tell us about the early turn in program and told us about the S60 Cross Country, which sits higher. We liked it a lot and so we went ahead with it. We literally looked at it one Saturday, told Gorges what we wanted and came up and picked up the car the following Saturday. We were on and off the lot in about an hour and 10 minutes. Try getting that kind of service with any other dealer. You can't. Finally, when it comes time to get your Volvo serviced, you won't find a better, more accommodating service department. The car will tell you when to schedule service and when you call the service department, they'll set everything up for you. And remind you via e-mail. Those guys are awesome. I"d recommend Gorges Volvo. Absolutely. More
