Gorges Volvo Cars has been recognized as the preferred Volvo dealer serving our region since 1957. Back then our founder Fred Gorges and his 2 brothers first formed a relationship with Volvo in Wichita Kansas, where the Gorges brothers operated a successful import business. When they were approached by Volvo to start selling cars in the United States, Gorges Volvo Cars was born.
After some time in Kansas, Gorges Volvo Cars eventually relocated to Omaha where we've continued our successful business for 30 years. We attribute the success of our new and used Volvo dealership over the last three decades of serving Omaha, Lincoln NE, Fremont NE, Sioux City and Council Bluffs IA, to the fact that we are 100% dedicated to maintaining our strong family values and extending those values to our customers. The Best Pre-Owned Vehicle Experience My husband and I scoured the internet to find a certain pre-owned vehicle anywhere in the US. There were only 2 and one was at Gorges Volvo in Omaha My husband and I scoured the internet to find a certain pre-owned vehicle anywhere in the US. There were only 2 and one was at Gorges Volvo in Omaha -- over 1,000 miles away. We contacted Gorges by email and received an almost immediate response, followed up by a phone call with Heidi who volunteered to take videos of the vehicle both inside and out with comments on any visible flaws since we couldn't see it in person. After receiving the videos and speaking with Heidi, we made arrangements to purchase the vehicle and travel to Omaha. Everything was so simple, including being picked up at the airport, doing our test drive and driving away with the vehicle in a VERY short amount of time. Thanks to Heidi and to Marcus for making the purchase seamless, simple and extremely enjoyable. They both went above and beyond to deliver everything we needed. I would definite recommend Gorges to anyone wanting to purchase a new or pre-owned vehicle. Thanks! More

Bought a new car -- great service by Gorges We spotted a used MINI on CarGurus.com. The vehicle was at Gorges Volvo. When we arrived at the dealership we were greeted by Heidi Fountain who g We spotted a used MINI on CarGurus.com. The vehicle was at Gorges Volvo. When we arrived at the dealership we were greeted by Heidi Fountain who guided us through the process of looking at and test driving the vehicle. Gorges has purchased the car at auction but had fully inspected it and were in the process of doing the work necessary to put the car in great condition for sale. We decided that day to purchase and Heidi was great to work with. When we picked up the car a few days later Heidi and Marcus Gorges were again great to work with as we completed paperwork, paid for the vehicle, and drove it home. More

Having Marcus Gorges personally go over our paperwork was pretty neat. He took the time to tell us about the company and the generations of family that have run this business. He takes great pride in that and it shows. Gary, our sales person, was very friendly, not pushy, and took the time to find out what we were looking for. Most people dread having to buy a car for fear of working with the dealer. People tend to walk away from these experiences feeling like a number. That is not the case here at all! We were so impressed that we chose to enter into a service comtract with them. Which we didn't have to do! We still would have continued our relationship with them do to some of those extras I mentioned. This experience made me feel like we are now part of the Gorges family and honestly we are! I will definitely be working with them when we purchase our next vehicle! More
