Christine, we apologize for your recent experience and understand your frustration. Although the camshaft broke so soon after the oil change, there is no correlation between changing the oil and an internal part failing, that is, one did not cause the other. Also, while unexpected circumstances can occasionally cause delays in repairs, including the need for additional parts, this is never our intention. We could have, and should have, had much better communication with you while the vehicle was here. We fell short of what was needed and expected. Please know that we are actively addressing the issue with our service department to ensure we continue to improve and provide the level of care our valued customers deserve. We sincerely do not want to lose you as a customer and hope you will accept our apology for the extended repair time and the lack of communication.
