I first went to Marty Feldman’s dealership on Grand River to have my radio unlocked in my car because my battery died. They said over the phone it would be $40 witch I thought was a lot but I had no choice, to have my radio unlocked in my car because my battery died. There’s no way I’m paying $100 to turn on my radio? For reference you can buy the same radio (monsoon premium 6 disc cd) on ebay in perfect condition for $60. Marty Feldman wants almost twice the value of the whole radio unit just too simply turn it back on? I had my registration showing the car was mine so it was not a matter of theft prevention. So I called the next closest dealership to my house witch is this one in garden city. They said bring it in it will either be free or at a max $35. So I went in and they gave me accurate information over the phone as after unlocking my radio in a short time it was only $35. They even ran my car through the carwash for me. Will definitely be going to this dealership for anything else I need. More
Took my car in for repairs, on Thursday the 28th of Feb 2014. Called on Monday Mar 3rd of 2014 to see if it was done, and was told scents I didn't have a appointment that the car was never looked at. Appointments are only for the wright up for service not for the mach. or the car to be fixed and scents they already wroted me up, why wouldn't they have repaired my car? So, I had to take my car to another dealer to be fixed. Had it back the next day on the 4th of Mar 2014. And Gordon's let me take my car to another dealer without even trying to take care of this. Called GM to file a complaint, then Gordon's, calls back basicly said sorry. No, what can we do to make this better or nothing just sorry. It took 4 days, no calls, to fine out my car would not be worked on because I was a drive in and did not call for a appointment. That is just not right. More
Jason is the man to go to for anything thing. I've been there 3 times and got want I want at the price I want. He's also a mechanic. He knows the ins and outs of everthing. Day 1. Took my 2010 Impala in for pre-warranty expiration check. No major issues with the vehicle. 9:30 am day 1. The advisor asked me for some specifics...there was a clip that came loose laying on the front passenger floor and a loose screw from the driver seat laying on the rear floor. I also mentioned it needed a new fob battery and could he check the main battery. xx brakes too. End of day one...said they found a coolant leak and would replace a gasket. Car would be ready on day 2. No courtesy vehicle available. Day 2 ...They called at 9:30 said they were working on coolant problem and would call me back in 2 hours with status..no call. I called at 1:30 and advisor apologized and said the car also needed an alignment and rotate, balance. I declined. The advisor said car would be ready on Day 3..but, it was a Saturday and no shuttle ride available. Told me to call Sat and check on car but it was his day off. Day 3 Called and not ready yet was told they would call back IF ready. I am writing this am of day 3 and still don't know if I'll have a car. P.S. Last week I went on a 1500 mile trip and had no problems with the car....the service manager had told me his mechanic had driven the car and detected a vibration..thus leading to the alignment, etc recommendation. I had the tires rotated and balanced 2 weeks before my trip. Last time I was at dealer (9-12 months) I was told the same thing and got an alignment. More
I cannot say enough about this dealership and their employees. They were knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and responsive. I've dealt with other dealerships in the past and by far this was my best exp employees. They were knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and responsive. My wife & I took our 2006 Malibu Maxx SS in to inquire about some warranty paint work. We had been toying with the idea of buying a new used car, wondering if we could use the Maxx & our 2002 Imp inquire about some warranty paint work. We had been toying with the idea of buying a new used car, wondering if we could use the Maxx & our 2002 Impala as trade ins. Steve readily offered to get us an appraisal on both vehicles. We were both impressed immediately with his professional & friendly manor, and felt at ease. While he was getting that done , we took a test ride in a used Impala & were pleased with the comfort, quietness, and cleanliness of the car. After getting back & talking with Steve, we were also pleased with the first appraisals but were thinking maybe he could do a little better. We also were hoping for a little better on the price, so Steve went to work for us. In the end we ended up trading in both cars, bought the Impala, and walked out feeling that we absolutely got a fair deal. I will recommend Steve to any of my friends who might be looking for a used car. As this was our third purchase from Gordon Chevy, we would also recommend the entire dealership as well. I feel Steve was a very friendly salesperson. I didn't feel pressured at all while looking at used vehicles out on the lot. He followed up on all my questions and concerns. Gordan Chevrolet is by the far the best Dealership that i have ever been to. Everyone there is very nice, professional, and the prices are unbeatable. Steve is professional, very helpful and not pushy like most sales people. He makes a living selling cars but does not make this the deciding factor, he truly tries to do what is best for the buyer. I felt very at ease and could tell Steve knew what he was talking about. We spent about 2 hours with him and feel we have known him for years.
