Disappointing I had an appointment for an oil change. I also had a problem with the collision warning system indicating the possibility of a frontal collision. A few weeks ago I was driving and it was snowing. I saw a message on the display indicating the collision sensor was not working. I had the vehicle washed a few days later and assumed everything was OK Unfortunately, I had a close call while driving and the sensor did not work. I also indicated I wanted to disable the rain sensor, since this is very irritating, in addition I wanted to also disable the high beans going on. I was given a ride home and picked up.. When I arrived at the dealership I was told there was no frontal collision warning sensor. I was also told the wipers and bright lights could not be disabled. I was about to bring out the DAD voice to express my displeasure. However, since this is a new year I did not say anything. I understand the problem is mine since I was accustomed to customer service meaning something. The service writer may have started out as a technician and worked their way to service writer. They also had the ability to listen and understand what I was trying to explain. However it appears the service writer has to be easy on the eyes and the ability to type. I noticed in the display that the oil had been reset. I started to play around and wow I disabled both the wipers and the bright lights. Now all I have to do is find a Ford dealer that will fix the front sensor. More
