Just another dealer I brought my car in for its 5000 mile oil change and check up. Haley was great and took care of me as soon as I pulled in . She also answered all of my questions even about new tire prices. But come on , the car was given back to me not even washed. At least 5 salesmen in the front office give them a rag and clean the cars. I live in Chicago and Golf Mill Ford is 5 Minutes from my home. More

Problems in Service I booked an appointment 3 days in advance to get new tires. When I arrived at the appointed time I was checked in with their normal efficiency. 10 m I booked an appointment 3 days in advance to get new tires. When I arrived at the appointed time I was checked in with their normal efficiency. 10 minutes later I was informed that there had been a foul up on getting the tires and it would be 2 and a half hours before they would arrive. I had a book to read so I chose to stay. 4 hours later having finished my book I went outside to get some fresh air only to find my vehicle sitting outside. The work had been done but during the entire time no one had bothered to keep me informed as to the status of the work. The service manager was very apologetic but seemed more concerned with keeping me from writing about may experience than anything else. More

Shady, Shady, Shady.....worst place in 3 state area I gave it a 1 star as there is not negative stars to give. Bought a "certified, pre-owned" car. (one of 6 cars my family has purchased) Have had 8 m I gave it a 1 star as there is not negative stars to give. Bought a "certified, pre-owned" car. (one of 6 cars my family has purchased) Have had 8 months. Was sold extended warranty package that is not worth the paper it is written on. Now vehicles had serpentine belt explode. Belt rotted due to loose/defective fitting on low pressure hose of AC compressor leaking chemicals onto belt. Dealer replaced after I paid to have vehicle towed in to the tune of 175 for tow, and 105 deductible. I drive it off the lot, stop two blocks away to get gas and I don't have any air conditioning. I call dealership or stealership, and cant get it back into be looked at for another 8 days. Fast forward to today, brought it in. Parts from same AC compressor are now defective/damaged, but it is only a coincidence from 8 days ago. "Was working when we had it". After me blowing a gasket, they "help" me and get deductible waived and get a rental car approved cause they cant get part today, or in time enough for genius to install it. Car company comes and now wants a deposit for the van. Genius service man doesn't see why I am angry. If it came down to these morons giving me a car or taking the city bus....I guess, I need a bus pass. More
Emergency service I had a flat tiire. No spare in my model. Called Ford free 800#towing service. This dealership was 3 miles away so I had them take me there. When I had a flat tiire. When I arrived I stood in service for a couple minutes, then asked if I was in the right place as no one even looked up at me (there were 4 employees in the dept at the time). Service mgr Steve half looked up at me and BARKED ‘you're going to just have to wait your turn ' I did , and when it I was finally waited on, Steve again BARKED "We're booked for days I don't know when we'll get to you' , so I went into the waiting area called MY dealership Martin Ford in Union Grove) 20 miles away. They came with a flatbed took me back to their dealership gave me a loaner car and I was on my way That was four hours later. The outcome was the same as neither dealership had the tire in stock. But Martin Ford was wonderful . Steve at Gordie Boucher doesn't belong in the position that he's in . Do not go to this dealership with any type of last minute emergency More
What a disappointment - 2.5 hrs with an appointment I bought a car here and would really like to have Boucher as my prefered service department but I have learned what others have warned me about - even I bought a car here and would really like to have Boucher as my prefered service department but I have learned what others have warned me about - even with an appointment the waits are extremely long. I had the an oil change, emissions test and tire rotation on my Ford yesterday and showed up on time for my appointment. I told them I would wait and was told it would take about one hour (a little surprising with an appointment for normal maintenance, but I was getting a few things done so was okay with it). About 2 hours later the service person came through for someone else and told me they were just giving my car a wash. 30 minutes after that we finally checked out. It was 2 1/2 hours almost to the minute - I know because I was late for another appointment. To confirm - I had no unexpected issues with the car - just the normal service. The only thing that made it slightly better was that I could see others in the waiting room were just as frustrated as I was. At the end, no big apology, no major concern about my long wait - just a thanks for being patient and send me on my way. My normal maintenance shop is merlin - just down the road - and I am going back there from now on. 19.99 for an oil change and I can often drop in and be done in under 30 minutes. Better and faster service for a better price just a minute down the road. More
