Brought my 75 year old father’s Buick there in July, he loves his car and wants to take care of it. I recommended he go to a dealer vs an independent repair facility, boy, was I wrong!!! He paid $6500 for multiple repairs, one that included shocks… they used the incorrect shocks (his car has magnetic ride control) they had the nerve to tell me “the correct shocks are too expensive” and they made the decision for us to use the WRONG parts. We brought the car back in October (I was trying to figure out a solution with the previous service manager who got let go) because since the repair, it will not go over 80mph, I emailed and called for the GM and was never connected with him. The service manager told me there is nothing they can do to help my father who gave them $6500, no refund, no repair. The service manager also told me “it’s probably a good thing he can’t go over 80mph” the bottom line is the vehicle went over 80mph when it arrived at Golf Mill Chevrolet, it does not anymore and it is directly related to the work they did for $6500. Golf Mill Chevrolet hung a 75 year old Vietnam veteran out to dry and they will do the same to you!!!!! Avoid at all costs!!!! More
