This was the worst service I have ever had. I brought my car in for it's appointment at 7am on 11-18-22 for an oil change. After waiting a few minutes for the service door to open when I drove I brought my car in for it's appointment at 7am on 11-18-22 for an oil change. After waiting a few minutes for the service door to open when I drove up, I finally got out of my car to walk inside and asked the employee to open it. He told me to wait a few more minutes and then he opened the door. Once checked in he asked if I was going to wait for my car but I said I could leave it and come back so he said it would be a couple of hours, no problem. At about 10:30am I called to see if it was ready to pick up and I was told "no but it is scheduled to be done" and they will call me back when ready. I then had a funeral to go to so I figured I would pick it up later. At 2pm I was called but not to say it was ready, I was told I needed a tune up and front breaks. I didn't want to do that at this time so I asked if it was ready for me to pick up and I would do the other service on another day and the girl said yes. At about 3:00pm I arrived at the dealership and talked to my advisor who again mentioned the other services they were suggesting and stated it is not safe to drive with the breaks in the current condition. I decided to go ahead and have the tune up and breaks done and asked how long my car would be there. I was told I would be able to pick it up that same evening so I said great and headed home. About a half hour later I received a call stating they needed to order parts so my car would not be ready until the next day around noon. I didn't need it back that night or even in the morning so I said no problem. Saturday 11-19-2022 at around 1pm I called to see if it was ready, I did need my car on Sunday so I wanted to be sure to pick it up before the service department closed. The girl who answered the phone said she didn't see any paperwork so it was not ready and she transferred over to service and nobody ever answered the phone so I hung up. I decided to wait an hour and called again, I was again told it was not ready and the girl started to transfer me but I asked her not to because nobody was picking up. She said the service department was busy so they may not be able to answer the phone and she will go ahead and transfer me, I told her not to bother and I would just come in to inquire. So I headed over to the dealership at about 2:30pm went in and asked the advisors for the status, I was told it should only be about another hour longer, I said fine and headed back home to wait for a call. At 4pm I didn't even bother to call I just went over to check on my car since I was told the advisors leave at 4:30pm. As I walked in the advisor said it's "almost done, they're just bleeding the break line", so I went to the waiting room. I waited maybe 20 minutes and saw my car pull up and the advisor get my paperwork. Now this guy knew I was getting aggravated and stood there with my paperwork in his hand for at least 5 minutes and had a conversation with some guy that the other advisor was helping. He finally finished talking and brought my papers to the cashier, laughing all the way like it was a big joke, I paid and got the heck out of there. You may think that was end of it but no, I'm pretty sure my breaks were done, but for some reason I received a voicemail on 11-23-22 stating my parts are in for my break repair and I should call to schedule. Now, I do hope that was a mistake since they told me it was to dangerous to drive my car and this was almost a week later, not to mention I did already pay for the break service. Long story short, I will not be returning to Golf Mill Chevrolet for service or to purchase a new vehicle. More
Great service, willing to go the extra mile. We had purchased an extended warranty (via Endurance). While most have a 30 day waiting period this one has 30 days and 1000 miles. We hadn't yet reached 1000 miles when trying to make our 1st claim (short by under 200 miles). Golf Mill only charged us the deductible still. That was really appreciated. Thanks More
dissatisfied with the level of communication about the length of time to complete repairs. appointment was made without asking me what was being done, thus causing me to wait an hour and a half for a mech length of time to complete repairs. appointment was made without asking me what was being done, thus causing me to wait an hour and a half for a mechanic to arrive just to begin repairs. had tires replaced, presently rear passenger tire is leaking air, left lev a voice mail message yesterday to outline my concerns and schedule an appointment to address it and presently I still haven't heard from him.
