•After talking with various representatives about the 2002 White Corvette on GoldStar's lot, we requested pictures of every flaw on the car. oTheir staff obliged by sending numerous photos – many upon 2002 White Corvette on GoldStar's lot, we requested pictures of every flaw on the car. oTheir staff obliged by sending numerous photos – many upon our request – that documented each blemish and/or flaw on the car. •With that being documented we were comfortable with what was represented to us, and we purchased the vehicle. •Upon taking delivery of the vehicle, my wife noted and documented significant damage on the passenger side rocker panel. oThis damage was not in any of the photos previously provided oThis damage was far more significant than what was represented in the photos they provided us (i.e. worn radio button, missing door handle access plug, seat wear, etc) oThis damage was confirmed and documented by the FedEx driver and a GoldStar representative as being there PRIOR to the vehicle being loaded onto the FedEx truck and while in GoldStar’s possession/care. •My wife immediately contacted GoldStar and sent emails with pictures of the damage. •After my wife spoke to Dana and Mark about this in greater detail, they requested additional pictures of the damage (to be sent to Dana’s private email address) along with a copy of the signed pick-up documentation from FedEx oThis documentation was signed by the FedEx driver and the GoldStar employee oMy wife provided that that documentation as requested. oThis evidence - that the damage occurred to the vehicle before it was put onto the FedEx delivery truck - was provided to them on April 9, 2010. •My wife provided Dana and Mark with an official quote to repair the damage from Ryan Collision Center on April 16, 2010 •Over 14 days passed, where we sent numerous emails to Dana and Mark and also tried to contact them via the telephone. But they failed to respond. •Mark finally responded that he wanted a quote from our local Maaco Repair shop. •We provided him with that along iwth an additional quote from the Chevrolet Dealership. Interestingly, Maaco was the most expensive. •My wife fiunally got a hold of Dana who stated that he was only authorized to give us $200 (the three quotes were paprox. $600; $800; and $1500). My wife asked to speak with the owner; Dana provided her with his name. •My wife left message for the owner to call us back over a week ago. •Today is 05/10/10 and we still have not heard anything back.
