Rude and unfriendly service. The service person Bill was not accomodating at all. I will never go back to this dealership. An oil change should not be this difficult. not accomodating at all. I will never go back to this dealership. An oil change should not be this difficult. More
My original commentary on this dealership still stands as is, however I now have an update. I bought the GM protection plan extended what ever their highest warranty that GM protection plan offers and at tim is, however I now have an update. I bought the GM protection plan extended what ever their highest warranty that GM protection plan offers and at time of purchase I was advised that the warranty would not be active for 30 days as there is a delay from when they send it to GM and when GM applies it to the VIN. An issue came up where I needed to contact my Chevy dealer of choice as a problem with my car came up and their service advisor told me "yes I see the warranty active on the VIN you can bring the car in for service if you need to" so I did just that and paid my deductible and everything went as it should have. Today Mark from finance calls me kind of angry telling me that I violated our agreement and that he and his GM rep are canceling my warranty. I just think that Mark was angry that I chose not to bring my car to his dealership to let his service department do the work. Per my 1st experience with Glendora's service department id never let them lay 1 finger on my car ever again. I honestly think this dealership needs to be retrained or restaffed with some new people who actually care about how to relate to the public and how to treat their customers. Drive the extra 20 or 30 miles and go to another Chevrolet dealer trust me you will be glad you did. More
I went to this dealership on 9/6 with the idea about trading in my 2010 Chevy Cobalt which blue books at 10g and edmunds says is worth 10g trade in value. I worked with a internet manager named Gino who trading in my 2010 Chevy Cobalt which blue books at 10g and edmunds says is worth 10g trade in value. I worked with a internet manager named Gino who was a decent enough guy. He ended up telling me that they could not worth with me because of the negative in my car. Fine moving forward Gino brought me some other guy who did not introduce himself and he stated that this man sold extended warranties. And Gino and this nameless man kept trying to push me on purchasing a warranty which I did not want! and after some thought I felt ok and I did it figured it was better than nothing. So I agreed and they started the process and after which they told me my car had to be inspected for safety and problems and again fine. I signed the paper work and after signing I thought I was able to leave as my car had been with their mechanic for some time getting inspected so I wanted my keys and was then told that it would be another 30 to 40 minutes as they had to take my car on a test drive and my car was not on the property. ( what are these people thinking) I never agreed to my car leaving the property. Every car dealer's service department has a work order and a disclosure stating "I grant this dealer and its employee's permission to operate my vehicle on streets and highways for safety and testing purposes or evaluation purposes. I NEVER gave these people permission to use my car off property. I demanded my car back and after about another 20 minutes my car finally returned and I was told I was free to go. Moving forward today 9/8 I called and spoke with a manager named MIKE and explained things to him 1st Mike sounded concerned and told me he would investigate and call me back. Mike did call back and told me that I was 5 grand negative on my trade I find this funny considering the KBB and Edmunds trade value stated of 10g. I explained this to Mike and he being the sales man that he is or manager if that is his true job he told me that I "should ask Kelly Blue book to buy the stupid car " I find this a bit abrasive, unprofessional, and hostile on his part as I was never rude or sarcastic with him. I asked about canceling the warranty Gino talked me into purchasing and MIke said that I should not cancel it and that if I really wanted to id have to go in person to sign off on it. The United Auto Care warranty this dealership sells makes it so that you have to take them the car "you can not go to any chevrolet dealer" must be them, and what they do not disclose is the provider of the warranty has problems and complaints on various different auto sources about them paying smaller claims and denying the larger claims leaving the customer stuck with an expensive repair bill. Glendora Chevrolet should be avoided at all costs as at 1st they are nice but then become hostile and unprofessional. More
No pressure from sales people. I told them at the beginning that I didn't want to play any games, and they were straight with me. Got a great deal on an 04 Avalanche. This is my second vehicle that I beginning that I didn't want to play any games, and they were straight with me. Got a great deal on an 04 Avalanche. This is my second vehicle that I've purchased through this dealership in three years. Their service is also first rate. I highly recommend this dealership. More
