I cal Glendale Nissan is TERRIBLE!!!! STAY AWAY! I drove nearly 4 hours out of my way to look at a Navigator and was lied to multimple times. I called the night before to confirm the vehicle was still there, and to verify that out of state financing would be ok. Kelly P said absolutely, No Problem whatsoever. When I arrived at the dealership, within the first 3 minutes, Kelly said that there may be an issue with out of state financing, and that we should start a credit application first. - Bear in mind, I had not even seen the car, or driven it yet! I told her that I was not doing that until I could see/drive the car, and that I was serious about purchasing it, and did have a sizeable down payment. ( I had about 95% of the asking price in cash with me!) Upon seeeing and driving the vehicle, I noted numerous problems- all electrically related. The interior illumination did not come on when the headlights were turned on, the tracton control would not turn off, the check engine and ABS Lights were also on. These were very obvious issues that should have been addressed by the dealer before this vehicle was even on the lot. I had no problem paying the posted price of the vehicle (it was fair, and I was told that it was there absolute bottom line several times) The price was fair for a vehicle that did not have these issues. I asked if these issues would be taken care of at this price, and Barry said that the margin was really tight, but they could maybe take off $100.00. This comment was extremely insulting, as I am ASE Certified in Advanced Automotice Electronics, and know that these issues could all cost several thousand dollars to repair. After driving the vehicle, I thanked Barry, and told him that I would have to pass on it, because of these issues. I said that maybe if the vehicle was 3-4 thousand less, that we could talk, and left it at that. At this time, Kelly P was walking out to see how the test drive went, and before I could say a word, she said just a minute and went to talk to Barry about our test drive. I was going to be considerate and thank her as well, but when I walked towards her and Barry, she went the other way, and basically gave me the cold shoulder twice. I left the dealership and began my long drive back home. About 10 minutes later, Barry called asking if $2500 off the price would work. (Even though I was told that the listed price was absolute bottom dollar / margins were tight) Again, I said I was serious about buying when I came into the dealer, yet they did not even respond to my offer of 3-4 thousand less at the dealer, and let me leave the lot. They were more interested in playing games, and missed their chance. I told Barry NO! 3-4 thousand less was my offer at the dealership, with all the issues the vehicle had. I had now left the dealership, and was on my way home, so now that I would have to come back, I said 4-5 thousand less. At this point Barry got a real attitude and a rather unpleasant tone, I told him twice more that I would pass, at which point he hung up on me. Bottom line - Glendale Nissan would have likely made a sale if they listned when I told them that I was a serious customer, and considered my offer on the lot. Instead, they failed (miserably). This dealership is very dishonest, and would rather play games than work with serious customers. Glandale Nissan overlooks and ignores blatantly obvious(saftey) issues with their vehicles, and is definately a "quantity over quality" dealership. STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALER!!!!!! More
Went to this dealership to purchase suspension parts for a damaged 2009 Versa. They charged more than 50% over the MSRP for the parts ($380 versus $250) and were unwilling to "price match" (their words) wh a damaged 2009 Versa. They charged more than 50% over the MSRP for the parts ($380 versus $250) and were unwilling to "price match" (their words) what Nissan says they should be charging. Other dealerships in the area did not stock these parts and would have to order them and they took advantage of this situation to make more money. More
Best Price on an Altima because I guess they are a high volume Nissan Dealer, friendliness was ok. But it was not as important as getting the price I wanted. I would come back and I would by another car fr volume Nissan Dealer, friendliness was ok. But it was not as important as getting the price I wanted. I recently purchased a new 2007 nissan maxima from kelly Gilman. this had to have been one of the most pleasurable and smoothest transactions i have ever had at a dealer. I got a great price, and was treate Gilman. this had to have been one of the most pleasurable and smoothest transactions i have ever had at a dealer. I got a great price, and was treated excellent by kelly. She made sure all my questions were answered, and didn't do the typical "high-pressure" sales thing car dealers do. i would highly recommend this dealership..andmake sure you ask for kelly when you go!!
