I purchased my Jeep almost 2½ years ago and am finally comfortable sharing my experience. I visited Glendale Jeep to compare used models with the pricing of a new Cherokee. I asked to test drive a used Cherokee, but the salesperson instead took me to a Grand Cherokee 4xe and insisted I “had to try it.” He heavily pushed incentives, including a “dealer-paid” sales tax, which turned out not to be a true discount. As it was rolled back into the vehicle price. I was told I was getting a great deal, but I ended up paying thousands more than expected. I was also pressured into a lease I didn’t want. I had the funds to pay my own taxes and didn’t need a high-risk loan. The entire process felt rushed and misleading. Shortly after purchase, a recall was issued. I scheduled service online but was told I made the “wrong kind” of appointment and had to wait nearly a month for another. Around that time, I realized my rear wiper was missing. When I texted my salesperson, he said he would “take care of it,” but service ultimately had to pull a wiper from another car. When I returned for the recall, I mentioned a ticking noise. The technician heard it and said he would investigate. I was unexpectedly asked for my license, insurance, and credit card for a loaner I hadn’t requested. Later, I was told my Jeep wasn’t safe to drive. The loaner I received was dirty, low on gas, and lacked the features of my vehicle. The next day, I was told my Jeep was ready. The ticking was described as something “loose from assembly,” and there is s still tape on the door jambs that should have been removed. I have not peeled it off for fear of damaging the paint. Overall, the buying process and follow-up were disappointing. I felt misled by the sales tactics and unsupported afterward. I reached out to the sales and finance team after my purchase but received little response to my concerns. The pressure led to a decision I regret and will deal with for years to come. In contrast, the Jeep dealership in Florissant was far more transparent and helpful when I was shopping. They focused on what worked best for my budget without pressure, and I genuinely regret not returning there to purchase my vehicle. More
I strongly advise against doing any business with Glendale Chrysler Jeep. My experience with this dealership has been nothing short of disastrous. After multiple delays, broken promises, and a comple Glendale Chrysler Jeep. My experience with this dealership has been nothing short of disastrous. After multiple delays, broken promises, and a complete lack of professional communication, my Jeep was finally repaired after 4 months in the shop. Adding insult to injury, when my wife came to pick up the vehicle, she overheard the service writer, Kyle Lohmeyer, saying, “Get her Jeep and get her the f**k out of here.” Such blatant disrespect and dishonesty are completely unacceptable. His unprofessional behavior demonstrates a lack of integrity and customer care that is beyond comprehension. The dealership’s Management (Joshua Younger) Service Department and Stellantis Customer Care have been dismissive, unprofessional, and entirely unacceptable. My trust in Glendale Chrysler Jeep has been completely eroded, and I would strongly recommend caution to anyone considering doing business with them. Their level of incompetence, dishonesty, and blatant disregard for customer satisfaction is outrageous. Save yourself the hassle—look elsewhere for a reputable company. More
This was first purchase at Glendale. I received outstanding service, great selection of reasonably priced vehicles. I worked with Alex, who was very helpful! 10 out of 10 experience! I've had my 2016 Jeep Renegade in to Glendale 4 times now & the problem is still NOT FIXED! After telling them multiple times that I am leaking coolant somewhere, they kept telling me it's fixed. I was filli & the problem is still NOT FIXED! After telling them multiple times that I am leaking coolant somewhere, they kept telling me it's fixed. I was filling coolant up every other day! It is NOT fixed. They replaced the radiator, hoses (that I had to pay for) thermostat, they said it was fixed. NO it wasn't. Still leaking coolant somewhere. Had them tell me 3x all is good, all is fixed. Kept telling them its a cracked head gasket. This is not my 1st Jeep. This is my 4th over the years. Sure enough took them 3 days to figure out that it was a blown gasket due to a warped block, warpage between cylinder 1 & 2. Warranty covered an engine replacement when it was said & done. I picked it up this evening & it was running good when they brought it out to me. However, I went out later, started it up & it barely started! Sounds like metal grinding on metal. Chugs along & eventually starts up. Lift the hood to get video of what it's doing & sounding like so I can prove something is NOT RIGHT! What do I see, a "black blinking box". I've been told it's their diagnostic tool. Well it barely wants to start, sounds like metal on metal grinding when it does start, and they left their diagnostic tool behind. These guys are a bunch of hacks!! I'm so mad I'm in tears!! Due to warranty, I'm told I have to continue to go back to them! My next contact is to the warranty company to see what can be done at this point. DO NOT GO TO GLENDALE AT ANY COST! More
Beware of their dishonest, shady, deceitful business practices. Glendale no longer takes pride in a trusted reputation. The days of return customer loyalty has been replaced by shifty sales tactics.
