I have been having numerous problems with my XC-90. It has approximately 58,000 mi on it and doesn't seem to be holding up like I thought a Volvo should. Our 1994 Volvo 940 had intermittant problems starting and the problem could not be properly diagnosed by our local mechanic. We decided to bring the car to Hassell Volvo in Glen Cove. The Assistant Manager, the problem could not be properly diagnosed by our local mechanic. We decided to bring the car to Hassell Volvo in Glen Cove. The Assistant Manager, Stephon Solomon, squeezed us in for an appointment on the same day that we had called. Service Manager Carmine Gonzalez wrote up the order. The mechanic quickly diagnosed the problem as intereference from the after market car alarm. Carmine explained the issue to me and expedited the repair so that I could drive the car home that same day. Carmine and Stephon were both very friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. I thank the Hassel Volvo team for the great work they did and we expect to keep the Volvo for many years to come. I reagularly use Hassel Volvo in Glen Cove to have my two volvos serviced. Stephon not only remembers me, but remembers our vehicles as well. Recently, I was in for a new battery. They missed a software download, so I had to take the car back in. But to ease my burden, they remedied the problem VERY quickly by making my vehicle top priority. when i ordered my car in august 2006 i was never told when i ordered my car in august 2006 i was never told that it did not come with a spare tire. when the car was delivered to me in november 2006 i ask when i ordered my car in august 2006 i was never told that it did not come with a spare tire. when the car was delivered to me in november 2006 i asked where the spare tire was. i was told that the car did not come with one. I asked that one be ordered for me, because of my health problems i did not want to get stuck without one. I kept asking but nothing was done about. I finally had a slow leak in one of my tires.and luckily i was close to a garage to have it fixed. I then proceeded to order a spare tire in case the next time it can not be fixed and i am in a position of not being able to purchase one immediately( like at night time) This visit was to have the tire,wheel,etc. installed in my car. More
