Dropped my car off for an oilchange, and the low coolant light had just come on that morning. I checked and saw that the overflow resivour was about an inch low. I thought they would just add an inch of antifreze, change my oil and let me go. Joe called to tell me that they had discovered a hairline crack in the radiator seam and they would have to replace the radiator. They didn't have one in stock and would have to order it, and would have to keep the car overnight. He them called me a few hours later to tell me that they had a rediator at their other volvo dealership in GlenCove and they had it sent over to them and had replaced the radiator in my car and that it was all ready and I could pick it up. It's at least a half hour between dealership's and they went out of their way to get my car fixed asap. Great Job! More
My service light went on and Hassel Vovlvo of glen cove(NEAREST MY HOME) refused to shut it off, even after spending $300 on brakes, oil, filter, tire rotation etc. They said i did not have the 22,500 cove(NEAREST MY HOME) refused to shut it off, even after spending $300 on brakes, oil, filter, tire rotation etc. They said i did not have the 22,500 service done.Even after speaking with the sales manager and leaving several follow calls, he did not bother to return my phone call.I called the huntington dealersahip and spoke with Stephon who said come in anytime you want. I did so that same day and was treated with great care and service. I was in and out in less than 5 minutes. Stephon is quite an asset to your organization. More
This is my 3d Volvo and I have had nothing but the finest service from the service department at Hassel. From easy appointments,great service representatives and never bring back repairs to the great waitin service from the service department at Hassel. I took my Volvo 2008 Cross County into the dealership for service for a tire problem. Not only were the above employees friendly and extremely knowledgeable, they explained what needed to be done so I could service for a tire problem. Not only were the above employees friendly and extremely knowledgeable, they explained what needed to be done so I could actually understand it. I was given a loaner car and my car was done that same evening! We have brought our previous Volvos in for service at this dealership and have always found them to be extremely professional and friendly. We will always plan on patronizing Hassel Volvo. More
Appointment was given very quickly. The staff is friendly. Service was provided in less time that anticipated. Car seems to be working fine. Waiting area is clean and welcoming. It was a great pleasure to work with Stephon on my recent visit. When it comes to servicing your car, to me, it can be alittle frustating. Unfortuantely, after leasing two volvos through this dealership I have decided not to lease another. This is simply because of the offensive attitude of the sales rep, Boris, and the quality of both ve dealership I have decided not to lease another. This is simply because of the offensive attitude of the sales rep, Boris, and the quality of both vehicles I leased. There were numerous problems from exploding hoses, to poor exhaust systems, to key ignition problems. However, and this is very important, the only reason I leased my second vehicle and would ever consider doing so again is because of the exceptional service department and Michael Britt. For each problem that occurred Michael and his team handled the problem quickly and effectively. Further more, they treated me with great respect and courtesy, which the sales department, namely Boris, greatly lacked. Truth be told, many customers I spoke with informed me that they felt the same in regards to the service department, and Michael Britt, being the biggest selling point for their vehicles. He is exceptional at his job and a pleasure to work with. If he ran the entire dealership and construction of the vehicles I have a feeling there would many happier drivers. That is why I give this dealer a high rating, hoping it is noted that this rating applies only to the service department. Thank you. More
I leased my car from Georgetown Volvo a little over a year ago only because they were closer to my home & actually had a little better deal for me. But recently, I went to Hassel because my tire pressur year ago only because they were closer to my home & actually had a little better deal for me. But recently, I went to Hassel because my tire pressure light was on and let me tell you, Hassel? It was the farthest thing from that. Every single person I made contact with greeted me with a smile and a hello. I was assisted immediately and was told that my tires were fine but was in need of brake pads. I was able to get them done the very next day only because I couldn't wait at that particular time. And again, when greeted the next day - it was nothing but smiles. Mike & Stephon were wonderful as was Joe (I think that was his name) the valet attendant. I will not ever go back to Georgetown, who at times, made me feel as if I was bothering them when I had come in for service. Hassel is the way to go! And when leasing time comes around, they will be see me again! During this crazy economic time, it is nice to know that some places still appreciate your business and show it. Thank you. More
