I thought maybe I was nitpicking on my previous visit when I noticed some employees and customers in the service area without masks. I felt I couldn’t complete the manufacturer survey without mentionIng this, so I declined the survey altogether and sent an e-mail to the service manager about their COVID practices. No response. Today, I picked up my car after my latest service and noticed that while masks are worn (although I later did see one staffer with mask down greet another staffer less than a foot apart), there are no plexiglas shields at the counter and all counter slots are open so that customers stand three feet apart and less than two feet from the service advisor. There is no mention at all of car interior sanitizing, so when I get home, I fill the car with a few bursts of Lysol and keep the windows closed for a few hours. I also wiped down the steering wheel and a lot of black stuff came off, so this signals to me that things like wheels and handles may not be wiped at all before the customer retrieves the car. About a year before COVID struck, I was at this dealership and noticed the entire row of service advisors coughing and sniffling. A couple days later, I had severe flu symptoms and it took me several weeks to fully recover. All in all, the COVID practices could be much stronger here, especially since the dealership is located in an area with one of our county’s highest infection rates. More

Roomy Car Just got the Volvo s90 model, it’s silver on the outside and black on the inside. Unexpected service On the morning of June 5th we were about to head by to Florida when the car would not start. Through the Hum system we called for roadside assistance On the morning of June 5th we were about to head by to Florida when the car would not start. Through the Hum system we called for roadside assistance and got a jump start. We then drove to Glen Cove Volvo and were met by Harris Pepper who logged us in and would serve us a soon as possible. They did just that. It wasn't long before they had checked out the electrical system and found that we needed a new battery which was still under warranty. A big thank you to Harris for getting us in and out quickly so we could start our long drive back. Arrived back in Florida with no further incidents. Dave H More
Robbery Beware of taking your car in for service here. My wife took our Volvo XC90 in for an oil change and walked out with a $495 bill! The anti skid light was on which they said they would check and the car key was working intermittently which they also said they would check . In the end, they presented my wife with a $2000 bill to fix the issues and a $495 bill to tell us about the issues. This dealership should be ashamed to rip people off like this! I spoke to Mr. Harris Pepper over the phone and he claims all dealers will charge you to "diagnose issues" . $495 to diagnose an issue? This is a pathetic way to treat loyal customers. I would not recommend doing any business with this place! More
