I purchased my new C-70 from Anthony Mastroianni and found the entire experience quite pleasurable. Mr. Mastroianni was friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. I ordered a factory build on November 15, 2008 and it was delivered to me on January 21, 2009. Mr. Mastroianni handled all of the necessary paperwork and then took quite a bit of time to explain the many functions of this fairly complicated vehicle. He introduced me to the service manager and discussed my first service. I went to Hassel Volvo of Huntington after the unfriendly and indifferent way I was treated by my local dealer. When I first visited the showroom in September 2008 Mr. Mastroianni took me for a test drive and then promised me that I would not be disappointed with the pricing when the time came for me to purchase the car. He lived up to his promise and I was quite pleased with the price. Aja Dewling arranged for my financing very efficiently making that part of the purchase completely effortless. She too was friendly and courteous and a pleasure to deal with. I decided to buy a trunk accessory and that too was handled in a very friendly manner by Steve Santory when he called me when the parts came in. This is my first Volvo after driving Lincolns from the same dealer for almost 25 years, switching only because the C-70 was love at first sight. And although I was treated well, it pales by comparison to the way I was treated at Hassel Volvo of Huntington. The have now made ma a loyal Volvo customer. I would definitely recommend this dealership to anyone contemplating buying a new car. More

Unfortuantely, after leasing two volvos through this dealership I have decided not to lease another. This is simply because of the offensive attitude of the sales rep, Boris, and the quality of both ve dealership I have decided not to lease another. There were numerous problems from exploding hoses, to poor exhaust systems, to key ignition problems. However, and this is very important, the only reason I leased my second vehicle and would ever consider doing so again is because of the exceptional service department and Michael Britt. For each problem that occurred Michael and his team handled the problem quickly and effectively. Further more, they treated me with great respect and courtesy, which the sales department, namely Boris, greatly lacked. Truth be told, many customers I spoke with informed me that they felt the same in regards to the service department, and Michael Britt, being the biggest selling point for their vehicles. He is exceptional at his job and a pleasure to work with. If he ran the entire dealership and construction of the vehicles I have a feeling there would many happier drivers. That is why I give this dealer a high rating, hoping it is noted that this rating applies only to the service department. Thank you. More
