Inasmuch as we needed to get service on our vehicle, we decided to take the drive from Smithtown to Glen Cove in the hope that we would find a decent service department. Our experience was excellent. We were accorded professional service from very competent people. Both Joe Tiso and Bob Glasser did everything they could to assist us with our difficulties. From the minute I walked into this dealership, I felt at ease. Everyone was congenial and friendly. Cary Ann Bruce, Bernie Shereck and AnnMarie Vivona were all super people to deal with for this purchase.Bernie Shereck gave the test drive on the used BMW and it was was more than adequate on the backroads of Brookville where I could use all the gears and feel the cars abilities. Back in the office, Cary Ann Bruce gave me all the info I could handle. Questions were answered clearly and when she didn't know an answer, she found someone who did. I never felt any pressure to buy and when I came back they were ready to deal on an already excellent price. I was able to go back to the car and check out a few more items and re-inspect it for problems. Once I chose to buy I had a lot of questions about extended warranties, Ann Marie Vivona answered them all leaving me to make the final choices informed and with no pressure. After 40 years and 10 purchases, this was the best experience I have ever had buying a car. Thanks Hassel! More

We leased a 2012 Volvo S60 T5, and despite some miscommunications following our sales agreement, we felt comfortable and satisfied with the transaction when taking delivery. Orrin was a consummate professional, and was clearly dedicated to selling Volvo’s for their capabilities. He took us for a spectacular test drive which allowed us to fully understand how well the vehicle performs. On delivery, Orrin spent a great deal of time explaining the features of the vehicle, its technology, its warranty, and other related details. Throughout the entire sales experience, we were both impressed with Orrin’s extensive knowledge of Hassel's products and deep appreciation for customer satisfaction. We met with Anne Marie to sign the final paperwork for the transaction. We enjoyed talking to her and appreciated her patience with explaining all the paperwork clearly and assisting us with fully understanding both the trade-in process and lease agreement on the new vehicle. More importantly, we were impressed with her problem solving abilities and customer appreciation to fix the miscommunication that had occurred earlier. Frank, the General Manager, showed us that Hassel is not like other dealerships and always puts the customer first. We love our new S60 and continue to be surprised, not only by the vehicles wide array of features, but also by the dealerships commitment to satisfaction. More

Brought my vehicle back several times for people will tell you anything you want to hear just to get you to make the purchase.After that is ALL OVER. Brought my vehicle back several times for service, Every single issue that the vehicle was there for was NOT corrected.From rear bumper repair to Air condition issues to Emergency brake adjustment.Not one thing was properly repaired.Had vehicle there in three separate ocassions for the same repair and they still manage not to get it right.Do yourself a favor, STAY AWAY!!! Go to KARP VOLVO. Had my vehicle there one time and they took care of ALL my issues the first time and they did it RIGHT. Save time and money. This people wanted to charge me $400.00 for my 15k schedule service that I found out thru Karp I'm entitle to for FREE!! They conveniently forgot to mention that to me.The one thing they're extremely good at is making excuses.{heard them ALL}If you still decide to try it, pack your patience bag and bring your rubber boots.{If you know what I mean}I'ts going to be DEEP More
Worst car buying experience ever- run from this dealership unless you make seven figures a year. If you are looking for a new or used Volvo look no further. You will not find better customer service anywhere in the country, and from my experience you will not find a better price. I live in Texas and was searching around for a CPO XC70 with low miles. I was able to find a few vehicles locally but the asking price seemed a little high so I searched auto trader and Hassel Volvo not only had exactly what I was looking for but at the lowest miles and price. Too good to be true? I received the XC70 last week from New York and I could not be more pleased with the overall quality and condition of the vehicle. It was in better shape than the pictures online could suggest. Frank Mastrovito gave a thorough walk-through of the vehicle himself for me over the phone. He was 100% accurate with his description of the vehicle, and was careful to point out even the slightest blemish so there were no surprises upon delivery. Cary Bruce took over from there and she was the best. I cannot say enough about how friendly, helpful, pleasant and professional she was during the entire process. Any question I had was answered promptly and with good information. Anne Marie Vivona assisted with financing and did an excellent job finding a great rate and getting the deal together quickly. Overall this was no doubt the best experience I have had buying a new or used vehicle, and it was done 1600 miles away. I was treated like family.
