This was my first experience with any Volvo Dealership, but I picked Hassel Volvo Glen Cove because I have been familiar with seeing this dealership for many years. I travel between Roslyn & Glen Cove for Theater, Dining and shopping. So now that I was concidering a purchase of a new car and one choice was a Volvo SUV, I went to Hassel. I was introduced to Mr Orrin Gould and even though I went into this looking at either a purchase or lease, I already had an offer for the private sale of my 2003 auto. The weather was a nasty winter afternoon, but they made a car available that I was looking at to test drive. The next day I brought My wife to see how she liked it? All through this Sales & management were very pleasant and my wife has very set ideas as to what she likes and although she was nt swayed, I certainly was. I got my Volvo XC90 here two years ago, and both my wife and I were totally sold on the safety features of a Volvo.. We went shopping for a C70 about six months back, and met with Rich Dixon. We were having some issues with the car that I had to trade in, so I waited till last week before we went again - and straight back to Rich. Didn't want to deal with anyone else. Price negotiations with Daniel was a pleasure. He was respectful, but firm. He wanted to get the deal as much I wanted the car (I wanted it to be a surprise for my wife). Got a nice price on the trade in, except for the fact that I traded in my Lexus RX300 with a full tank of gas inadvertently (I just lost about $70 worth of gas).. Paperwork with Anne Marie was smooth as ever, and she was able to get a far better deal with the bank than what I could have imagined. While I found my experience with buying the XC90 just about okay, the new purchase of the C70 had far exceeded my expectations. More
