Erika, I am sorry to hear that your son did not feel he got the proper level of service yesterday. After looking into this, I understand that when your son arrived, his car had hit another customer’s car, which may have sidetracked & delayed the process of getting his vehicle examined by our Service Department. I am informed that following the accident, he did not have time to have a technician diagnose his car, however briefly worked with our Subaru Concierge to try and trouble shoot the issue. I apologize if your son was misinformed, but I want to let you & he know that after speaking with a Subaru technician, there is currently a firmware update available and we are seeing it correct the issues he describes. We would be happy to have that update performed immediately as well as provide him with the $50 gas card for his Subaru Encore Delivery that was previously scheduled. Our aim is to ensure your son’s car is working properly, he is happy, and that he gets good service anytime he visits us. If your son would like to do this, simply contact Nick (Subaru Concierge) and he will make the necessary accommodations.
