Our Subaru was due for a few recalls. I knew about all of them, no real excuses just didnt take care of them like I should have. I get an email about it, decide I have to get it done but don’t have a ton of them, no real excuses just didnt take care of them like I should have. Being that my wife is 39 weeks pregnant, and the whole COVID-19 thing going on Sam offers TO COME GET THE CAR FROM OUR HOUSE AND DO THE RECALL. What?? Have you ever heard of a dealership doing FREE recalls AND coming to GET the car themselves? I have not. The work was done within a day, and they brought the car back. Washed. They brought it back washed. All so my pregnant wife didnt have to leave the house. Customer for life. More
Recently I have been dealing with Chris as my service advisor. He is always kind, courteous and professional. I feel valued and respected when working with him. When I receive my car back is looks great advisor. He is always kind, courteous and professional. I feel valued and respected when working with him. My only additional comment for the dealership overall is to be sure ALL of the front desk employees learn how to greet customers with a warm and welcoming smile. Something this small goes a long way. I have been a customer here for years and have always received expert care with respect and courtesy for my automobile and myself. Of course the staff has changed over the years and I’m just getting know the new staff; as well as them knowing me. It’s understandable that a person’s personality has a lot to do with how they relate to customers. However, those on the front line must be trained to always greet the customers with a smile. More

This was during corvid 19 pendemic and the service was very prepared in produres for safety of customers and In for 60000 mi service and inspection. This was during corvid 19 pendemic and the service was very prepared in produres for safety of customers and employees. Provided loaner vehicle. Inspection revealed some major work and Chris helped me defer some of the 60000 work to cover the unexpected cost. Only issue was that I had to schedule the appointment too far in advance. They are always very busy so I guest that is a good point in a reliable organization. More
Incompetent Technicians, Dangerous Mistakes - TWICE! Very disappointed in the quality of the work at Glanzmann. I've only been here twice and had two negative/dangerous experiences with the Service Depar Very disappointed in the quality of the work at Glanzmann. I've only been here twice and had two negative/dangerous experiences with the Service Department. Negative Experience 1 - The first time I came here was last year for an oil change/tire rotation. I choice to go to the dealership to get the extra service of a professional safety inspection from trusted experts. I didn't need an appointment, which was very convenient, and they were able to take my car right away for service. After completion, as I started driving away I heard a whirring sound coming from the front driver's side and noticed the car's handling seemed off. I brought it back, explaining that the noise wasn't occurring before I came in, insisting they take a second look at it. They said they would. After a few back and forths between the customer service rep and the technician, she came over to me and said, "The lug nuts were not tightened to spec", downplaying the incident. This is a pretty serious oversight. The wheel could have fallen off and caused an accident. In the days following up, I was bombarded with calls, texts, and emails about how my service was and to schedule another, but they never admitted fault for tried to make any reparations. I now get my oil changes/rotations done elsewhere for much cheaper and without issue. Negative Experience 2 - This week, I brought my car in for another service: an airbag recall by the manufacturer, covered under warranty. While I was here, I decided to add in 60,000 mi maintenance service as well. Even though I had a negative experience with Glanzman last time, I chalked it up to a fluke and decided to give them another chance since they have such a good online reputation and generally have pleasant people manning the desk. I dropped the car off, and they called me back the following day, saying that during the the safety inspection, they noticed my serpentine belt was cracked and suggested get it replaced. I agreed, since this is also the type of thing that could cause a pretty serious accident. I called later that afternoon to check in when the car would be ready for pick-up. They said it was ready now, at about 4:30 pm though they closed at 5. When the service was completed, I knew I would be late picking it up and didn't want to keep them waiting after hours or to come back the next day since I had work, so I asked them to close out my account and leave the key. When I got there, I started my car and immediately heard a slapping sound coming from the engine. I opened the hood, and found the new serpentine belt had torn and pieces of it were slapping around under the hood (See photos). I don't know how anyone could have missed that, it was pretty loud! Since it was after hours, no one was in the building or available to answer the phone. I detailed the incident and sent photos to the Service Department's customer line via text. I did not feel comfortable driving the car home and left it in the lot until I can get a hold of someone. I'm pretty upset that 2/2 every time I've been to Glanzmann there has been an egregious error performed on my car. Both times, the car was in worse condition driving away than when I had pulled in. I can't trust the work or attention to detail of the service technicians here. They should probably be audited by Subaru. I've paid my bill in full and don't know what they are going to do to make it up to me. Safety is priceless and I don't think they own up to the seriousness of their mistakes. More
