Last night my friend purchased a used Jeep Wranger from Gilroy Chrysler Jeep Ram. The whole experience was sub-par to say the least. We experienced lies, deceit and total disrespect for the customer. We drove 2 hours to get this Jeep after months of searching, which the sale team took advantage of. They asked her to sign a BOM but lied about the itemization (LoJack) on the BOM as not part of the sale. They scammed her into a product by spraying it in the Jeep without her knowledge, then said she needed to pay $1600 for product. When we arrived, met with the salesperson Anthony and proceeded with the test drive. The questionable actions on the salesperson’s morales began when he presented the bill of materials (BOM) to my friend. They included an accessory, LoJack, to the Jeep and charged my friend for the device. We explained we didn’t ask for LoJack and requested they remove the device. The cost of the device is $1,600, which they should have removed from the BOM. The sales staff eventually admitted that they removed the device from the vehicle. The salesperson took the BOM, and didn’t return to us for up to 90 minutes. We asked for the BOM back 4 times and were ignored by the sales staff. Long story short, when we were with finance person he pulled out 2 invoices for 2 different services that my friend didn’t authorize. One was for several hundred dollars, supposedly stamping the VIN number on all the removable parts of the jeep. The second was for over $1,500 for spraying the inside of the jeep with a stain guard, again she wasn’t told nor asked if she wanted it. The sales manager basically said it was the salesperson’s fault and didn’t take any responsibility and said he couldn’t change the invoice because the service was complete. They charged her $1600, the cost of the LoJack, instead of modifying the invoice to reflect the price of spray, $1500. They refused to drop the charge, blaming the sales person as being new. So, Gilroy Chrysler Jeep Ram will deceive the customer, lie to them and then steal your money for items you never asked for. To add insult to injury, gave her the Jeep with no gas. Make it right. Cut the check for cost of the stain guard and give it back to the customer. DO NOT BUY FROM GILROY CHRYSLER JEEP RAM. More

My jeep had a recall, although it took over 2 months and communication lacked at first, all employees were kind and receptive to the huge inconvenience of being without my car. After purchasing a Jeep from this dealership, I walked away, wondering what just happened. I'm driving my new jeep home without the excitement and joy that buying a car makes you feel. My credit rating wasn't stellar so I prepared to accept a higher interest rate. I had 7,500 cash for a down payment to compensate for the high rate of intrest. after picking a Grand Cherokee that caught my eye the deal was on.The selling price was 19,825 interest rate 25.22% finance charge 15,610 bringing the total amount of payments to 25,436 total sale price with down payment 42,936 i planned to pay it off early and avoid the charges. Now it's time to meet the finance mgr and seal the deal that's when my day turned ugly. Mr. Trac entered the room and he took over and the lying began he was pleasant and likable he started feeding me papers to sign while he told a story about how he loved to dance the papers were coming to me without explaining what I was signing he misled me with false info and putting together two dealer ad on when I asked what I was signing he said that its if you bring the car back I would have to pay over $750 restocking fee instead over 7,000 ad on all this time he distracted me from paying attention. then he started using DocuSign to sign the final pages I ask why he is signing the papers instead of me he began dancing and swallowing pills that he retrieved from his knapsack I'm not lying so i ended up in disbelief and on my way home my sister and I reviewed the contract and it was so underhanded and deliberate I was embarrassed that I let him get away with all the BS he was feeding me The next morning I was standing at the dealership to drop the dealer ad on and redo the contract. the answer they gave me was It's a done deal the paperwork has been submitted and there is nothing they can do. I knew that I had been screwed without remorse. 3 weeks later my Jeep was in service for a transfer case replacement been in service for 3 weeks and nobody can tell me when I can expect my Jeep to be finished. This Is not over I'm exploring my legal options. AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP AT ALL COST They will screw you with a smile from ear to ear as they turn the knife I swear this is an honest and true experience that I had at GCDJR RUTHLESS More
