I have been coming to Grey for over 30 years. I knew just about all the guys in the service department. They were great and I always received excellent customer service. More Importantly I tru I knew just about all the guys in the service department. They were great and I always received excellent customer service. More Importantly I trusted them. I wasn't so impressed on my recent visit. I recognized 1 of the service people. What was an $45 oil change has now doubled. Oil hasn't gone up that much in 5000 miles. No more AAA discount. I was told I could get a senior discount. Ok. I was good with that, but I wasn't taken off my bill. I got a receipt but in the past I got a report on the service done, fluids, etc. Nothing but the receipt. One of the main reasons why I stay with GM products was because of the Grey service department. I may start to consider other brands. Not so impressed with Gilchrist so far. The internet in the waiting room is awful too. Like I said, I've been coming here for 30+ years. I can see a major difference already. Sorry, you asked... I'm being honest. And now you're asking me who I worked with in the sales department... I didn't work with anyone so I'll pick Alex. More

Gilchrist needs to place a oil change sticker in the upper left corner of the windshield for a reminder for the next oil change, Grey Chevrolet always did that. First I schedule online. When I showed up for my appointment they said sorry we just changed owners and the online scheduling isn’t applicable now. So I rescheduled. I wen When I showed up for my appointment they said sorry we just changed owners and the online scheduling isn’t applicable now. So I rescheduled. I went to the second appointment and got the oil changed and tires rotated on our car. About a month later I noticed a large puddle of oil under the car. So I investigated a bit and found the oil filter loose. It must have been slowly getting looser. Luckily I noticed before it loosened to the point of all the oil draining out. Since the amount leaking out of the filter was significant I tightened up the oil filter and called to schedule a third appointment to have everything checked for tightness including the lug nuts. I figured if they can’t tighten the oil filter there’s some likely hood they left other things loose. So as usual I was left with a pretty bad taste in my mouth about the level of service at your dealership. Shouldn’t take me three trips to get my oil changed. Also wouldn’t kill your people to be slightly apologetic when they screw up. More
